It was a beautiful day to be on the Flagstaff Hill Golf Course for the Karen Fitzgerald Golf Day.

Living Choice was proud to be the naming sponsor of the Karen Fitzgerald Fund Golf Day, in partnership with the Flinders Foundation and Marshman Foundation. It was a fantastic day on the greens at West Beach Golf Club, where approximately 110 players gathered for a friendly yet competitive golf event. Among the standout performers was the Living Choice team, who proudly secured third place.

Following the tournament, all teams reconvened at the nearby football club for a sit-down dinner and presentations. The evening was made even more special with Glenelg football legend Peter Carey as the guest of honour, delighting attendees with his presence and stories from his illustrious career.

The event was a great success, bringing together community spirit, sporting camaraderie, and memorable moments.

Living Choice Residents' Master Wine Tasting with Bethany wines (www.bethany.com.au)

Residents from Living Choice Fullarton, Living Choice Flagstaff Hill, and Living Choice Woodcroft came together yesterday for a special wine-tasting event hosted at Living Choice, featuring the renowned Bethany Wines from the Barossa Valley.

A group of 21 residents and staff gathered to sample a curated selection of Bethany’s ‘First Village’ range while engaging in lively conversation, with discussions of exclusive wine tours, opportunities for residents to participate in the winemaking process, and special community events celebrating South Australia’s local producers were also discussed.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, shared stories, and a sense of connection — a perfect reflection of Living Choice’s commitment to creating vibrant, enriching experiences for its residents.

We were thrilled to welcome Marcus Pearce at Living Choice Flagstaff Hill as our keynote speaker, sharing his powerful insights on longevity. With his inspiring perspective on ageing well and living with vitality, Marcus encouraged us all to reimagine ageing as a time of growth, energy, and exceptional living. This deeply resonated with our own commitment to creating vibrant Retirement Villages.

New Battery Power Savings for Living Choice Flagstaff Hill Residents.

The residents of Living Choice Flagstaff Hill now benefit from cleaner, more reliable, and cost effective energy solutions following the installation of the new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Delivered in partnership with Living Choice Australia and Active Utilities, the system is fully integrated into the village’s Local Energy Network and creates value for the retirement community.

A special thank you to The Hon Chris Bowen, Minister for Climate Change and Energy, for officiating the ceremony; and thanks to Lisa Dowie (Active Utilities), Lisa Chiba (Momentum Energy), and Blake Williams (YES Group) for their contribution to this project.

The battery forms part of Momentum Energy's Virtual Power Plants made possible through funding received from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) part of ARENA's Advancing Renewable Program.

A proud milestone for retirement living in South Australia.

Today, we officially opened the latest stage of Living Choice Flagstaff Hill — South Australia’s first fully integrated golf course and retirement community.

This new stage includes luxury apartments with stunning golf course views, plus a wellness centre, a magnesium pool, a cinema, a gym and more.
