2025 was a year that stretched me further than I thought possible.
I learnt a lot about myself, my body, my limits, and my character. There were plenty of hard moments. Plenty of doubt. Plenty of days where I was cooked. But what carried me through were the people.
The random messages.
The handshakes in the community.
The quiet “thanks for what you’re doing” moments that landed exactly when I needed them.
Sometimes you have to be bold and set big goals to see what you’re really made of. You’ll fall down over and over. But it’s about getting back up, dusting yourself off and going again. Progress doesn’t always feel loud. Some days it feels like nothing is happening at all. But when you look back over 12 months those small, consistent efforts compound into something magical.
Did I bite off more than I could chew?
Probably.
But I got it done.
10 million steps.
Still showed up for my family.
Still ran and grew our business.
Started a run club.
Volunteered.
Supported others.
Created awareness around Mental Health.
And created memories along the way.
This year wasn’t about perfection.
It was about showing up even when it was uncomfortable.

Also a huge thank you to my wife Bec Martin and our two boys for putting up with me tired, late nights, early mornings and everything else I took on in 2025. You guys are the best ❤️
