Cheryl has always had an interest in health & wellbeing because like the saying goes, you can’t enjoy wealth if you’re not in good health

Cheryl didn’t follow her dream, she chased it – all the way to “Hands of Serenity” which she established in 2008 at Flinders View Qld. Since then, Cheryl has completed numerous massage courses & diplomas & will never stop learning

Cheryl observed the immediate benefits of massage, that feeling of deep relaxation and calm because massage prompts the release of endorphins that produce feelings of wellbeing. Levels of stress hormones, such as adrenalin, cortisol & norepinephrine are also reduced

Cheryl is also a qualified counsellor with a massive passion in Hypnotherapy

Cheryl’s dream was to be able to combine all three modalities which she is now doing:

1. Hypnotherapy

Cheryl became a certified professional hypnotist through the Tad James Company and is now continuing her study with her Diploma in Hypnotherapy. This will give her a diploma in all three fields (Massage, Counselling & Hypnotherapy)

Cheryl incorporates Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) & Timeline therapy (TLT) into her sessions so when you come to her for help, she can not only hypnotise you to work on your problem but she can also use a series of techniques to bring about changes on an unconscious level and alter your behaviour for the better. The intention of NLP is to help her clients refrain from being reactive to present situations based on their past experiences
By incorporating multiple interventions into her sessions, Cheryl is able to improve her client’s self-awareness, confidence, communication skills & social actions

Many people consider the mind & body to be two separate entities but Cheryl believes they are intimately intertwined in what’s know as the mind body connection. Our chemistry and biology impact both our moods and emotions, as well as thoughts and beliefs

Cheryl believes when the mind & body are in harmony, happiness is the natural result

Cheryl Sertori first became qualified back in 2006 after doing her Certificate IV in massage & then recently completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques

Cheryl also has a diploma in counselling because she believes both the mind & body are closely related. Her empathy & compassion for people led her to make “healing” her life-time study which is now her full time career
