🌿 Welcome Neurokin to 'Embracing the Crone' a safe and nourishing haven for Autistic women & non-binary+ (45+) on this Thursday.
"Dear brave souls, I warmly invite you to come be at the fireside with me and the Dangerous Old Woman and the Power of the Crone. Who is the crone? She is the most dangerous, the most radical, the most revolutionary woman in existence. Whether in fairy tales or in consensual reality, the old one goes where she wants to and she acts as she wishes; she lives as she chooses. And this is all as it should be. And no one can stop her. Nor ought they try."
Clarissa Pinkola Estés (The Power of the Crone: Myths and Stories of the Wise Woman Archetype, 2011)
🌿 Why as late-identified Autistics we embrace 'crone energy'
The Crone is a benevolently powerful archetypal instinct to embrace in oneself. She is battle-scarred, richly wise and deeply committed to knowing and being her true self. She is recognising her own power and has less f@cks to give about conventional ways of being. Connection with her authentic self and finding her own peace and equilibrium are her priorities. She has much to teach, to share but only on her own terms and only with those who are worthy.
🌿 As late-identified Autistic women & non-binary+ we embrace this hard-won power. As survivors of many battles, we gather to share and appreciate each other, to compare scars, to share wisdom to learn from neurokin on the same healing odyssey.
If this resonates for you-we would love to meet you.
