All the preparation is done, all the thoughts around it have been thought, now it’s time to begin. Know that this journey can be scary and challenging, that’s the point, your growth and knowledge gained from this journey will become clear on the other side.

Union - Bringing together the aspects of ourselves to connect and work together as one.

Today’s Insight: Who are you living for?

Lyrics from ‘Redemption Song’ by Bob Marley come straight to my mind - “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our mind.”

Who are you living for, working for, fighting for, hurting for? Who are you diminishing your true self for? Who are you allowing to cage your mind and your spirit? You can be given all the riches and accolades, but what do they mean if they aren’t leading you on your true life’s path, what do they mean if you are just another soldier in another’s army? Too often we work the hardest to impress another, putting our own needs, wants and desires on hold out of a mentality that someone else has instilled in us. Sometimes we go against what we know is right or go through pain and struggle for someone else’s dreams and visions.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but you can free your mind.
It is you and only you that is going to allow you to live the life you desire, deserve and are meant to be living. No matter how much pain, suffering and sacrifice you go through for another you will never feel completely accomplished, even with all the awards and riches bestowed upon you. You and only you have the key to free yourself and unlock your deepest potential and life’s purpose.

Happy Birthday Son, Noah is now a big 5yr old, I am grateful every day for him, watching him grow into this young boy has been an amazing journey.
