Every participant starts with 2 one-on-one assessments with ONERO Physio Hannah, which includes:

Welcome back Matt! 🤩

We are pleased to advise that Physiotherapist Matthew Gawe will be returning to our clinic from Monday 1st December! Many will remember him from his previous appointment with us 😊

Matt is a dedicated physiotherapist from New Zealand, where he completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2021.

Since then, he’s worked in a range of roles across both New Zealand and Australia, gaining great experience in different clinical settings and working with a wide variety of clients.

Matt has a strong interest in running-related injuries, shoulder rehabilitation, and gym-based injuries. He enjoys helping clients through the full journey of recovery; from early rehab right through to returning to sport, work, or everyday life with confidence.

Outside of work, Matt is a passionate long-distance runner and has completed multiple marathons. He also enjoys CrossFit, surfing and travelling whenever he gets the chance.

ONERO™ is a program designed for people with osteoporosis or osteopenia (low bone mineral density). The program is supervised weight and impact training which is brief but at a high intensity. The evidence-based program is designed to stimulate bone development and reduce the risk of osteoporotic fractures and falls.

⭐️ What does it involve?
Our physiotherapist Hannah first assesses the patient’s current health, DEXA (bone mineral density scan) and functional capacity + a follow-up lifting assessment prior to joining a class. If the patient is willing, Hannah can add them to the worldwide research data.

Your GP can provide you with a referral to have a DEXA scan at your local imaging company.

Following the assessments, the classes are completely supervised by Hannah with a maximum of 4 clients in each class.

Depending on the coverage per individual, this can be covered by
▪️Private Health Funds - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️Home Care Packages - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️DVA - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️GPCCMP referrals (formerly EPC) - only for one on one assessments as GPCCMPs do not cover any group sessions / classes.
