Full Moon Tarot & Divination

Full Moon Tarot & Divination This page is just my small little space to explore Tarot and divination. My name is Tara and I have been studying and reading the tarot for almost half my life.

I endeavor to provide honest and compassionate readings for anyone who wants to know the truth about their place in this life. I offer affordable, in-depth readings that aren't "charged by the minute" ~ you will get the reading you need not necessarily the reading you may want. While I am honest and ethical, I won't lie and feed you a fairytale ~ that would only serve to hurt you in the end.

Card of the Day ~ Wheel of Fortune {Midnight Magic Tarot, created by Sara Richard} This card is represented by the Common Puffball, a mushroom that literally throws fate to the wind by releasing an incredible number of spores into the air with the hope that some find fertile growing environments. The Wheel of Fortune is a card of luck and destiny, of cycles moving through their natural stages so that works well with the Common Puffball. Incidentally, I think I’m going to make Common Puffball my new nickname. The Wheel of Fortune is always turning; sometimes it feels pretty slow but there’s always motion. This is a time when the Wheel has spun fortuitously your way. Sometimes the message of the Wheel is to have faith if you’re going through a crap time; it won’t last forever. There’s an interesting theme in the Wheel of Fortune card, and that is of the tapestry of life being woven. Your life is a rich tapestry, and you’re not the only one holding the thread. You’ve made good and bad choices in life, you’ve had good and bad luck, you’ve been born with and without privileges that influence your life events , choices and opportunities, you’ve been socialised a certain way. The Wheel of life is continually turning, seasons change. The Wheel of Fortune is about luck and change coming your way, but this can be rather ambiguous, so let’s go deeper ~ the Wheel of Fortune is also asking you to take responsibility for creating change with the new cycles and seasons you are being faced with. Luck is nice but it’s much nicer when you work with it to make it something amazing. Change is happening, and good luck is on it’s way ~ how will you work it to it’s highest advantage?

Card of the Day ~ Nine of Wands {Midnight Magic Tarot, created by Sara Richard} This card is represented by the Poison Fire Coral, a notoriously poisonous mushroom that illustrates the feelings of anxiety that can come with the Nine of Wands. Learn from the fragile mushroom and brazenly display your strength against adversity by using the tools that have protected you thus far. This is a card of courage, sacrifice and persistence. Stand your ground and stay persistent. I know, you’re soooo over it and it’s been a battle baby, I know. You’re closer then you think to the end, just one more push. It’s worth it. The Nine of Wands can show us the other side of the energetic, dynamic nature of the Wands suit, which is tiredness and fatigue. Energy is finite so when it runs low it’s not a great time. The Nine of Wands is about that moment of “oooohhhh I am soooo tired”, a recognition of the weariness that can set in after having to do too much for too long. Even if you’re happy to do it, gosh it’s a lot. You may even be wondering if all the energy you’re putting in to things is even worth it. It is, keep going. Remember why you started, pivot back if you need to.

Card of the Day ~ Four of Cups {Midnight Magic Tarot, created by Sara Richard} This card is represented by the White Basket Fungus, a fungus that starts as an egg and twists into a cage form. Māori folklore associates them with Whaitiri, the thunder goddess, as they often appear after thunderstorms. Think of this card’s message as less bars of confinement, more load bearing beams of support in a cozy space. The Four of Cups is a card of meditation, introspection and withdrawal. We aren’t feeling particularly social with the Four of Cups., for a variety of reasons. Some of those reasons are genuine “I just need a freaking minute” and some can skip over the border of petulance. The thing to remember is, this space is temporary but also always there is you need it to come back to. Take some time for spiritual contemplation, set some emotional limits ~ and stick to them. Sometimes this can be a card of boredom or apathy, in which case, the invitation of this card is to understand the source of this, as it usually means some need/s are not being met. Sometimes you just feel stuck, there may not necessarily be any obstacles. Things are just meh. This is a rut, but a momentary one. At some point, you will have the choice of staying where you are or getting up and getting going. While you’re in this moment of stillness, whether voluntary or brought on by stasis, adopt an attitude of curiosity. Try something new, get creative in your safe space. Give things a shake and see what new possibilities come through

Card of the Day ~ Ace of Cups {Midnight Magic Tarot, created by Sara Richard} This card is represented by the Fluted Bird’s Nest Fungus, mushrooms that overflow with egg sacks that are catapulted from their nests when a drop of water hits them. The Ace of Cups is also about overflow and abundance so this makes sense. The Ace of Cups is about new beginnings, good vibes and a new emotional journey commencing. This is a moment that is fertile and abundant with creative energy. Aces hold an offer for us, and here in the Ace of Cups there is an opportunity for growth. Listen to your heart, take up a new magical practice, dive deeper into your faith, honour the wisdom that is coming from deep inside you. This card is an opportunity to open your heart. The Ace of Cups wants you to embrace who you are and live authentically, with integrity and self respect. An opportunity to do just that arrives with this Ace. Don’t worry about what is acceptable or what fits, just pay attention to what you know deep inside.

09/03/2026

Card of the Day ~ Judgement {Midnight Magic Tarot, created by Sara Richard} This card is represented by the Co**se Finder mushroom. These mushrooms are reported to have brought a crime to light when a gathering of these mushrooms fruited over buried human remains. The Co**se Finder got it’s name because the release of nitrogen from a decaying mammal is what causes it to appear. The Judgement card doesn’t usually refer to a sordid court case, it’s more about upcoming choices, a reckoning with the self. It’s often called the Phoenix card because it denotes a rising from the ashes of what was ~ this is the second last card of the Major Arcana, so there have been a llllooottttttt of lessons and journeys and thus, an evolution of the self when the Judgement card comes to town. Sometimes this rising comes from an opportunity or revelation; other times it is about embracing a new mindset. This is not the time for staying in your shell. Trust your judgement, and be patient. The fruits of your labours will appear when the time is right. You have passed through some serious ups and downs, so many lessons, so much hard work, all those moments of clarity, depth, courage and greatness. Before we get to the good stuff of the World card, we have to face ourselves completely, own all our successes and failures. The return on this difficult work is freedom. Self acceptance sets us free because it is hard to face all of our whole, imperfect beautiful selves. You will then be free to move forwards into a new era of life, lighter, self aware yet free.
