Full Moon Tarot & Divination

Full Moon Tarot & Divination This page is just my small little space to explore Tarot and divination. My name is Tara and I have been studying and reading the tarot for almost half my life.

I endeavor to provide honest and compassionate readings for anyone who wants to know the truth about their place in this life. I offer affordable, in-depth readings that aren't "charged by the minute" ~ you will get the reading you need not necessarily the reading you may want. While I am honest and ethical, I won't lie and feed you a fairytale ~ that would only serve to hurt you in the end.

Card of the Day ~ Five of Coins {The Verdance Tarot} In this deck, the Five of Coins is known as The Exiled. The Fives in the Minor Arcana of the Tarot are always challenge cards. Here in the Five of Coins, the challenge is of the material kind. We see hardship, struggles, alienation and a railing against the circumstances being faced. There is material hardship, possibly poverty, and suffering weighing us down in the Five of Coins. It’s a difficult card, from the intense isolation, to feeling like you’ve been left out in the cold ~ it really feels like you’re up the creek without a paddle. The important thing to remember with Fives is that while they are challenging, there are also solutions/ways through. In the Five of Coins, the way through is looking around you and seeing the assistance that is freely being offered. It is there, you just need to look past the crap you are mired in or ~ shudder ~ you may need to ask for it. The archetype of The Exiled reminds us to seek help and persevere through the difficult times. It’s not always easy asking for help; it’s actually really freaking hard for some of us. The Five of Coins may not be leaving much alternative though ~ think of it as an invitation to put the ego aside and ask for what you need with the knowledge that someone will willingly help you.

Card of the Day ~ Queen of Cups {The Verdance Tarot} In this deck, the Queen of Cups is known as The Empath. This is someone who is intuitive, compassionate, someone who can embrace and use their emotions rather then be ruled by them, someone in flow and someone who is authentic. The Queen of Cups offers emotional security; they are your safe space. You can express yourself and be who you are in their space without judgement. This is because the Cups Queen recognises the importance such a space has, and considers it a privilege to be able to provide that where they can. The Queen of Cups rules the space of introspection and intuition. They are unafraid to reach deep down into themselves; they know that wholeness comes from confronting the aspects of themselves that are not always comfortable or easy. This is a time for heart-centred wisdom, and as an advice card, the Queen of Cups encourages you to connect to your emotions without letting them dominate you, to learn from the emotions that are coming up ~ why are they coming up, what purpose are they serving, how can you use them to serve a purpose that is for your highest and best? Start from a place of compassion for others and compassion for self, and build your plan from there.

Card of the Day ~ Judgement {The Verdance Tarot} In this deck, Judgement is also known as The Awakened One. This is a big energy to work with and experience. Judgement is an intense awakening, enlightenment, self-awareness, absolution, revelation, a clear new perspective. There is transformation afoot. You are being invited to honour your personal truth by tuning into a deeper knowing. This is a time to distill your own truth from the influences you are faced with from outside of yourself. The time has come, or is close to coming, for you to take some decisive action towards the path you feel is true for you. Self-reflection has to come before transformation. Own it all, then let it go. The cicada we see in the middle of the card is symbolic of the cycle of rebirth and awakening. After being in a state of dormancy, the Cicada rises. Cicada teaches you how to shed your past and steps into a renewed version of yourself. You’ve had some serious ups and downs, so many lessons, so much hard work, moments of clarity, depth, courage, greatness…and now, a call. Face yourself completely, to see and own everything about yourself ~ this is radical self acceptance, and thus, freedom.

Card of the Day ~ Ten of Swords {The Verdance Tarot} In this deck, the Ten of Swords is called the Fallen Hero. As with all Swords cards, there’s a double edge to this card. One of those edges is that of painful endings, mental devastation, severing a thread, cutting things off. These swords are sharp and they are not missing their mark. This is a hard moment, partly because of the hurt being inflicted, partly because an ending has come and it’s not an easy one. The good thing about this though is that thanks to the Swords, this nis a clean break ~ no going back, no more to come, it’s done. Now you can proceed forwards with clear eyes. The veil of illusion has been lifted and now you can move forwards. Truth has been revealed, however, it has come at a price. It’s not one you will be paying forever though, as Swords are smart cookies who take lessons from every situation in life and take them forwards. This is the archetype of the Fallen Hero, who once held promise and potential, and is now suffering hardship. When the Fallen Hero finds the strength to get up again they become the Wounded Healer who uses their wisdom and gifts to serve and save others.

Card of the Day ~ Seven of Wands {The Verdance Tarot} In this deck, the Seven of Wands is also known as The Protector, and I have to say, I am absolutely in love with that. There is a strength of will that comes to the fore in the Wands suit, and we see it in action quite brilliantly in the Seven. Here we see defiance, resistance, strong will, fighting for your beliefs, being protective and defensive, holding firm against all that comes for you. Stand your ground ~ you’re in the right, even if you’re the only one who knows that right now. Something has moved you to a protective or defensive stance, and you’ve more then got what it takes to stand your ground. You skilfully hold your own against on-comers, those who would challenge, rise against or take from you. Be relentlessly assertive in maintaining your beliefs, defending your actions, protecting what you have and who you love.
