Project Highlight: Tank 7 Construction at JUHI Refuelling Depot

The Tank 7 Construction project at Brisbane Airport focused on developing a 25m diameter, 13.5m high vertical tank for Jet A-1 fuel storage, accompanied by reinforced concrete bund walls, an impermeable drainage system, and necessary access and piping infrastructure.

Our involvement spanned from bulk excavation and precast pile installation to the construction of the tank and bund walls, totalling 400m³ of concrete used.

Project Highlight: Bayswater Level Crossing Replacement

The Bayswater Level Crossing Replacement Project, valued at $177 million, significantly enhanced transport safety and efficiency in Bayswater, VIC. By realigning Mountain Hwy and Scoresby Rd, and adjusting the rail line and road elevations, the project improved area accessibility.

Our role in the project involved the installation of reinforced concrete pipework, as well as the construction of four large in-situ concrete pits.

Our expertise in waste and water management projects ensures the delivery of environmentally responsible and efficient solutions.

We manage the complexities of water treatment, retention systems, and contamination control, providing sustainable outcomes in both urban and industrial contexts.

For the Narangba Bio Retention Pond, we replaced a defective stormwater system by supplying and erecting formwork and scaffolding for the base slab and walls, installing bespoke filter media and containment traps, and managing the excavation and disposal of zinc-rich, contaminated materials.

Project Highlight: BHP Olympic Dam Acid Tanks

This project introduced two massive 22-meter-wide acid storage tanks to Olympic Dam, reflecting our adaptability and precision in handling large-scale industrial challenges.

We were involved in bulk excavation, the supply and er****on of formwork, installation of reinforcement, and concrete supply followed by the final backfill of the tank structures.

Mental health remains a core focus at ROBAR. This month, we wrapped up two powerful initiatives that brought that commitment to life.

💪 We completed The Push-Up Challenge - Australia for the second year, smashing 22,821 push-ups and raising $1,907 for mental health services across Australia.

We also hosted a mental health workshop with The Sunlight Centre, following our Tour de Brisbane ride. The session gave our team practical tools to support themselves and each other, reinforcing the need for accessible counselling in our industry.

Big thanks to The Push-Up Challenge and The Sunlight Centre for the important work they do. We’re proud to be part of it.

The Osborne Submarine Deep Pits project significantly advanced Australia's defense strategy, establishing a hub for state-of-the-art submarine construction.

Our involvement included erecting formwork and scaffolding, installing specialised waterproofing and insulation solutions that met stringent specifications, all within the secure confines of an essential national defence site.

Delivering robust civil and drainage solutions is at the core of what we do. Our expertise ensures the effective management of stormwater systems, drainage networks, and essential infrastructure. From complex pipe installations to road crossings, we provide sustainable and efficient outcomes for every project.

In the Costco Bundamba Development, we successfully installed a GRP tank (Gross Pollutant Trap), 4.9km of stormwater pipes, and completed vital road crossings, contributing to the site's large-scale infrastructure.
