International Volunteer Day

Today we celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time, compassion, and energy to support our community. 🤍

A very special thank you to our Mentis Assist Participant Advisory Group, who generously share their lived experience to help shape our services. Your insights, honesty, and advocacy ensure our work remains grounded, inclusive, and genuinely responsive to the people we support.

Your willingness to show up — to listen, to care, and to walk alongside others — creates meaningful change, especially in mental health spaces where connection matters most.

Thank you for the difference you make every single day.

And remember: giving back is meaningful, but rest is essential.
You deserve care too — you can’t pour from an empty cup.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Today we recognise the courage, resilience, and lived experience of people living with disability — including those whose disabilities are unseen. 💙

Mental health challenges are often invisible, yet their impact is real. Many people move through the world carrying struggles that others may never notice, and accessibility must include understanding, empathy, and support for these experiences too.

Let’s commit to:
• Listening without judgement
• Learning with curiosity and compassion
• Advocating for visibility and inclusion
• Elevating the voices of people living with invisible disabilities

Together, we can build a community where mental health is understood, valued, and supported — seen or unseen.

🎄A Gentle Check-In for December
As we welcome the final month of the year, we invite you to pause and take a mindful moment.

Before the busyness begins, ask yourself 🤔:
• What do I need more of this month?
• What do I need less of?
• How can I protect my energy as the year draws to a close?

December can bring both joy and pressure. It’s okay to slow down, set healthy boundaries, and prioritise your mental wellbeing.

Take care of yourself—you're allowed to approach this season in a way that feels right for you. 💚💚💚

November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 🧡

Today is a reminder that safety, dignity, and respect are basic human rights, and that ending violence against women is everyone’s responsibility.

It’s a day to listen, to learn, and to stand in solidarity with survivors. Real change begins with awareness, empathy, and everyday actions that create a culture of respect.

Together, we can build communities where every woman and girl feels safe, supported, and valued.

We’re officially halfway through November and this calls for a check in!
How are you feeling today? 🌿

Sometimes, life moves fast and we forget to pause. Take a moment to notice:
• How’s your mind?
• How’s your body?
• What’s one small thing you can do for yourself today?

Self-care isn’t about perfection, it’s about gentle, steady steps.
Even a 5-minute pause, a deep breath, or a kind word to yourself counts. 💗
What is one thing you’re doing for yourself this week?

Happy World Kindness Day!

Science tells us that kindness boosts our serotonin, lowers stress, and strengthens connection. It’s one of the simplest ways to lift your mood and someone else’s too.

On World Kindness Day, take a mindful pause and ask:

🌿 How can I show kindness to myself today?
🌼 How can I extend it to others?

Follow this up with action!
🌸 Compliment someone
🌸 Send a simple ‘thinking of you message’
🌸 Or simply give yourself a moment of rest.

How's your Mo growing?

Grow a mo, save a bro! This Movember, it’s more than growing a moustache - it’s about breaking the silence around men’s mental health.

Let’s remember that it’s okay for men to talk, to share how they’re really feeling, and to ask for help. Mental health matters, and no one should face their struggles alone.

Check in with the men in your life today. A conversation can make a world of difference.

Today, we pause to remember.

On Remembrance Day, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served and acknowledge the invisible battles many continue to face.

If today stirs emotion, memories, or heaviness, take it gently. Reach out, talk, rest. You’re not alone.

Today, let’s honour their courage with compassion, for others and for ourselves.
