Rain? What rain! 🌧️
On Saturday, this group headed out to the Dandenong Show, and despite the wet and wild weather, we made the most of it and had an amazing day! We braved the rides, checked out the agricultural shed, and of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to the show without some show bags!

Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together at La Porchetta and finished the day with ice cream Because a little rain can’t stop us from having a great time!

Pam and Georgia — then and now

Swipe to see their journey together, from 2018 through to today!
It’s so special to look back at memories and see how much everyone has grown and changed over the years, with one thing staying the same: the incredible care, connection, and rapport between our staff and participants.

At C2A, our staff take great pride in what they do, showing genuine care and passion for the people we support every single day.
Not only do we make a difference in the lives of our participants, but they make a huge difference in ours too.

No matter the day, Pam will always greet you with a hand-drawn picture and a cheerful “You look lovely today!” It’s these moments that remind us why we love what we do, the connections, the laughter, and the mutual respect that make our community so special.

Here’s to the memories, the friendships, and the beautiful people who make C2A what it is today.

Exciting News from C2A! - NEW PROGRAM ALERT!

This term, some of our amazing participants have jumped into something brand new, our “Piece by Piece Mosaics” program! 🎨✨

We kicked things off with a fun trip to Bunnings to grab all our supplies, and the creative vibes have been flowing ever since! Everyone’s been busy designing and dreaming up their own large mosaic masterpiece, and trust us, they’re already looking incredible!

The sessions have been super relaxing, creative, and full of laughs. It’s such a wonderful space for everyone to express themselves and connect with friends.

One of our talented participants, Marie, shared that she used to make mosaics years ago and even entered them into art shows! She’s now planning to enter her brand-new piece next year, how amazing is that?!

We can’t wait to show you how our project comes together, piece by piece! Stay tuned for sneak peeks and the big reveal!

What is Piece by Piece Mosaic Group?

The Piece by Piece Mosaic Group isn’t just about art, it’s about connection, creativity, and confidence. Through hands-on, calming mosaic projects, participants are supported to build a range of valuable life and wellbeing skills.
Creating mosaics encourages focus, patience, and mindfulness. The slow, repetitive nature of the work can reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and give participants a positive outlet for self-expression.
Participants have the freedom to design and create something unique, helping them express their personality and emotions in a visual, meaningful way, including boosting self-esteem and pride in their accomplishments.
This works on Fine Motor Skills & Coordination, and many other benefits.
