One Sunday each month, Chelsea attends her 1:1 support shift at the Mount Eliza Op Shop — and she absolutely loves it! 🛍️

Chelsea is a dedicated and hardworking volunteer. From the moment she arrives to the moment she finishes, she gives her very best. But what she enjoys most is interacting with members of the community and being part of the busy, friendly environment.

If you ever spot Chelsea at the op shop on a Sunday, feel free to stop by and say hello — she would love a chat! 😊

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Habby Hub! 🎄✨

Over the first few weeks of December, our participants have been hard at work creating their very own one-of-a-kind fabric Christmas trees. Each participant selected their favourite fabric designs, was supported to trace and cut out their pieces, and then operated the sewing machine with assistance from our DSWs.

As you can see, the results are absolutely incredible, and these handmade trees are something participants can proudly display in their homes every Christmas. ❤️🧵
A big thank you to all the participants involved. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for sewing are truly admirable!

Dan, Marvin, Cam and Troy have been busy putting the final finishing touches on their Christmas Reindeer woodwork project 🎄🦌

So much care, teamwork and pride has gone into every detail, and the end result is something to be truly proud of. We love seeing creativity come to life, especially when it’s made with such dedication and festive spirit!

As the year comes to a close, our hearts are incredibly full. This year has been one of growth, patience, and teamwork, made up of many small moments that truly mattered.

The Frankston Hub is so grateful for the memories that made us laugh, pause, and feel proud. We’ve had some big events this year and put in a lot of hard work to make them happen, supporting so many people to achieve meaningful goals and build important skills along the way.

There were challenges this year too, but through resilience, collaboration, and commitment, our team continued to show up and support one another and the people we work with.

As we head into the new year, we carry immense gratitude for our team, participants, families, and supporters, as well as the lessons learned and the memories that will stay with us long after the tinsel is packed away.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with happiness, health, and continued success ✨🎁🎄

🎄✨ What a lovely evening out for our C2A group at our Annual Christmas Lights Tour and Dinner Session!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner together at Beretta’s in Langwarrin, sharing good food, great company, and plenty of laughs. After dinner, we wrapped up the night with a admiring the beautiful Christmas lights, enjoying walk-throughs, Christmas cheer, and lots of laughter along the way.

Such a festive way to end the evening 🎅✨
A wonderful night making memories together!

On Friday night, a lucky group joined us onsite for our Christmas Paint ’n’ Sip event! 🎄🎨✨

What a fantastic night it turned out to be. Participants selected their Christmas-themed canvas and got creative — and as you can see, each artwork is completely unique and personal!

We spent the evening listening to Christmas music, enjoying delicious local pizzas, and mingling with one another over a night filled with creativity, connection, and plenty of laughter.

Our Paint ’n’ Sip sessions are always a hit, and we’re excited to be hosting another one during our Christmas Holiday Program! 🎅🎁

November 1:1 Support with Sammi, Lets see what she's been upto!

This month, Sammi has been enjoying her 1:1 support sessions with C2A staff, exploring new adventures while also engaging in independent programs that help her work towards her goals.

Some of Sammi’s favourite activities include spending time at the pool, working on her physio exercises, swimming, and relaxing in the spa 🏊‍♀️.
She also enthusiastically joins sailing sessions whenever the weather is on her side ⛵️.

Sammi absolutely loves her outings with our "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" program. In November, the girls enjoyed a café outing and a fun-filled trip to Myuna Farm 🐮☕️🍰.

We also celebrated some special November events with Sammi, including Remembrance Day and Fairy Bread Day 🎉.
