This February, we stand with Ovarian Cancer Australia to shine a light on a disease that affects over 1,800 Australian women every year. Because there is currently no early detection test, knowing the symptoms is vital.

The Four Most Common Signs:

1. Abdominal bloating that doesn't go away
2. Feeling full quickly or loss of appetite
3. Pelvic or abdominal pain
4. Urinary changes (frequency or urgency)

If these symptoms are new for you and persist for more than two weeks, please book an appointment to speak with one of our GPs. Early conversation leads to early detection.

Dr Kashif Ahmed has recently moved from the UK, where he qualified as a GP with the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2016. He brings extensive UK training and experience and is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.

Dr Ahmed has a special interest in chronic conditions, emergency medicine, musculoskeletal & sports injuries, mental health, women’s, men’s & children’s health, dermatology, minor surgery (including skin cancers), and elderly care. He is also passionate about teaching and supporting the next generation of doctors.

Outside work, he enjoys travelling, hiking, playing and watching cricket, and experimenting with different cuisines. He is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all his patients.
