Two nights ago, we proudly hosted the 3rd MP MSK Matters event of 2025!
Despite a few IT hiccups, it was a fantastic evening filled with insightful presentations and engaging discussions, thanks to our outstanding speakers: Dr Ketan Pande, Bree Van Ryswyk, Dr Wai-Leng Chue, and our special guest, Richard Weiss.
Dr Ketan Pande explored Paediatric and Adolescent Sports Injuries, providing valuable insights into injury patterns, prevention, and management in young athletes.
Bree Van Ryswyk delivered a powerful talk on Navigating the Psychological Journey of Long-Term Injury and Return to Sport, highlighting the mental health challenges and recovery pathways for injured athletes.
Dr Wai-Leng Chue shared his expertise on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, presenting several case studies that illustrated diagnostic and treatment strategies.
Richard Weiss, Australian Olympian in Freestyle Wrestling (Atlanta 1996), closed the night with a powerful talk. He spoke passionately about his advocacy for Olympic wrestling, mental health, mentoring, community development, and the challenges wrestling athletes face due to limited pathways and support.
A huge thank you to the MP MSK Matters Committee, our incredible presenters and all attendees who helped make this event a success.
Stay tuned for details on our 2026 program!
