Today I will “Listen”

“Listening” in my personal experience is about connecting with the story & story teller

Opening all your senses so you can feel that energy within while you are listening to that story & you are not bypassing information

I’ve been practicing this for a long time now, because my old self easily got distracted if I wasn’t interested in the story or I wanted to interrupt to add my story into that story

It is very important to honour a story & the story teller by truly “Listening” & having a true “experience”

Be open to new information & honour it
Only when we truly are “Listening” we can learn in a very meaningful way & restore valuable information

Everyone has a story to tell & share
Everyone’s story is important & has wisdom & meaning

Try this every time you are listening

- Be present & retain eye contact
- Open your senses & imagination while listening
- Honour that story by not interrupting or trying to add your own experience to it, wait till the time is appropriate to do so & the story teller has made space for you to share or ask questions
- Try not to compete by starting your own story that is similar or you trying to make a point with another story
- Respect the story & story teller by allowing that story to flow
- Remember the focus is on their story not about yourself
- There’s always a time that you can own that space yourself to tell your own story and have a beautiful experience
- Connect with the story with curiosity
- Enjoy the story, even if it’s not something you are interested at that time

Remember that everyone has a very unique way of experiencing life and we can learn so much from others by truly “Listening” in an authentic, loving way & being present in that moment

If you are not in the right space to truly “Listening” be honest with yourself and respectful to others by having some patience & compassion & maybe give that story teller at least a little time to express themselves & be present for that short time

• Sometimes life may get really hard

• It can feel as if challenges persist

• What we forget to acknowledge sometimes

• Is that, “Strength” comes from challenges in our lives

• We are all transforming under pressure

• And tested, in how to overcome hard experiences

• When we are open to new lessons whole heartedly is when inner growth takes place

• It is a blessing, and an important chapter in our story

• Radiate your light on the other side of the tears & pain

• Be an inspiration to yourself & empower others by doing so

• Keep unlocking doors in your life & face your fears

• Embrace it all, “difficult or easy”

• It is part of your spiritual awakening

• You are strong, you are brave, trust in yourself!

• Be a caterpillar & embrace the process of creating your own cocoon

• Creating the transformation you desire, requires hard work & commitment to yourself

• Do something everyday that serves your desired result with authenticity

• Be patience, each step on the desired direction will change you a little bit every day to prepare you for what’s next

• If you truly whole heartedly commit to yourself, you will eventually emerge, like the caterpillar from the chrysalis

• You will then experience real transformation & become more vibrant, embracing a better version of yourself that you chose to re create
