+++ For details please see the further information box below.

I am a Certified member of the Meditation Association of Australia. In my role as a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher I am dedicated to helping others feel less alone with their life challenges. I know from my own life experience, - my successes and failures the benefits Mindfulness and Meditation has gifted me. I share practical applications of Mindfulness which can bring profound shifts and benefits to your mental, emotional and physical well – being. Mindfulness and meditation can reduce stress and prevent stress and anxiety. It also creates greater empathy and compassion for yourself and others. Mindfulness and Meditation brings more joy into your life, leads to stronger relationships and helps you develop a more resilient approach to life challenges. It opens a wonderful doorway to a whole new way of being in the world. I have been practising Mindfulness Meditation for over 20 years. Like many others I discovered the benefits of Mindfulness Meditation during a particularly challenging period in my life. I have followed the Buddhist path since 2002. My background, training and life experience means I can teach Mindfulness and Meditation either from a non – sectarian perspective or interwoven with Buddhist Philosophy. I believe I bring to my classes a sense of passion, compassion and humour for the benefits of living in Mindfulness. Over the years I have been on a variety of retreats including those with Thich Nhat Hanh, the Vietnamese Zen Master who is credited with introducing Mindfulness to the West. I’ve also attended multiple insight meditation retreats. In 2015 I received certification from the Gawler Cancer Foundation as Mindfulness based Stillness Meditation Teacher. Mindfulness has shown me there is a way forward, there is a way to touch happiness even in the midst of life’s greatest challenges. I come from a varied background as a small business owner in Australia. *Garden Centre/ Nursery *A close association with the farming and veterinary industries. My core projects were related to Real Estate - Residential/Commercial sales and development. I've also been involved in and managed - Coaching/Personal Development Staff Training. Burnout saw me take early "retirement". It opened the door for me to live my life from a place of authenticity and self awareness. A transition to new adventures and fulfilling lifetime ambitions and dreams. Taking the leap of faith to spend much of my time as a self - funded volunteer overseas. I travelled extensively and also spent time as a Volunteer TEFL Certified Teacher in South East Asia. I embraced the role of Associate Producer to a Vietnamese Theatre Group. Chaired an NGO with a focus of education for children in rural Vietnam. The NGO provided teaching resources/innovative ideas on teaching English along with resources such as bicycles/uniforms/scholarships/libraries. In this capacity - I also recruited other volunteers/raised funds/created English Language Workshops and classes. Life has taught me being open to and listening to our intuition connects us to the divine. Writing/ +++ My Memoir is a work in progress.

Healing begins with self-compassion. 💛 When we’re caught in pain, the way forward isn’t through resistance—it’s through love. How do you show yourself kindness in difficult moments? 💖✨
