We marry the best of traditional yogic philosophy, modern science and a strong contemporary Asana practice to provide a safe space for personal transformation in a supportive, fun and inspiring environment. The Learning Process in Yoga: Why Consistency Changes Everything

Yoga is not about chasing the perfect pose or instant calm.
It’s a deep, gradual learning journey - one that trains the body, steadies the breath, and quiets the restless mind.

Patanjali, in the Yoga Sutras, made this crystal clear.
He taught that the fluctuations of the mind (chitta vritti) are mastered through two pillars:
Abhyāsa (consistent practice) and Vairāgya (detachment).

And then he gave us the secret to making practice actually work:
Sutra 1.14

Sa tu dīrgha-kāla-nairantarya-satkāra-āsevito dṛḍha-bhūmiḥ

Translation:
"Practice becomes firmly grounded when it is pursued for a long time (dīrgha kāla), without interruption (nairantarya), and with sincere devotion & earnestness (satkāra āsevitaḥ)."
This is Patanjali’s blueprint for real transformation:

Show up. Do your best. Even when motivation is low.
Stay with it for months and years, not just a few weeks
Bring full attention, respect, and heart to every session.

The learning process in yoga unfolds slowly and beautifully:

Asanas awaken awareness in the body.
Pranayama calms the energy and breath.
Meditation reveals the patterns of the mind.

Consistency turns these practices into a rock-solid foundation (dṛḍha bhūmiḥ) - deep roots that keep you steady no matter what storms life brings.

Missed a day? Be gentle with yourself.
Just return to the mat with sincerity. No guilt, only commitment.
Small, steady steps compound into profound inner change.
Start where you are.
Stay consistent.

Trust the process Patanjali laid out thousands of years ago.

Yoga is a ancient practice that harmonizes the physical, mental and spirit through asana, pranayama and meditation, ultimately elevating human consciousness by attuning us to the subtle vibrations that underpin all existence.

At its core, yoga teaches that everything in the universe - including our thoughts, emotions and physical form is composed of vibrational energy oscillating at different frequencies. Regular practice raises our personal vibrational frequency by calming the nervous system, clearing energetic blockages in the chakras, and creating a state of inner coherence where lower, denser frequencies of stress, fear, or scattered thinking give way to higher states of clarity, love and expanded awareness.

As practitioners deepen their yoga journey, they often experience shifts in consciousness - from the ordinary beta-wave mental chatter to more serene alpha and theta states allowing them to perceive reality as an interconnected field of vibration rather than isolated matter. This elevation in frequency not only enhances physical health and emotional resilience but also opens doorways to higher levels of intuition, presence and unity consciousness, reminding us that by mastering our own inner vibration through yoga, we align ourselves with the cosmic rhythm of creation itself and that my fellow humans, is what it's all about.

Yoga and sound have been intertwined since the Vedas, where mantras and chants were tools for transcending the mundane mind. In the Upanishads and Patanjali's Yoga Sutras (2nd century CE), yoga is "union" - yoking individual consciousness (jivatman) to the universal (paramatman). Music, or nāda, acts as a bridge: ahata nāda (external sounds) stirs the body, while anahata nāda (inner vibrations) awakens pranic life force for blissful absorption.

This is the engine and philosophy behind FLOW FREQUENCY and YIN & SOUND.

We are so lucky to have the guidance and knowledge of a crew of local Lombok surf coaches.
Not only will they have you catching waves in no time but they tell stories, share history and get the high vibes flowing on the way to the surf. Laughter, non stop smiles and good beats make awesome memories out of the daily van rides.
