We marry the best of traditional yogic philosophy, modern science and a strong contemporary Asana practice to provide a safe space for personal transformation in a supportive, fun and inspiring environment. Yoga and sound have been intertwined since the Vedas, where mantras and chants were tools for transcending the mundane mind. In the Upanishads and Patanjali's Yoga Sutras (2nd century CE), yoga is "union" - yoking individual consciousness (jivatman) to the universal (paramatman). Music, or nฤda, acts as a bridge: ahata nฤda (external sounds) stirs the body, while anahata nฤda (inner vibrations) awakens pranic life force for blissful absorption.

This is the engine and philosophy behind FLOW FREQUENCY and YIN & SOUND.

We are so lucky to have the guidance and knowledge of a crew of local Lombok surf coaches.
Not only will they have you catching waves in no time but they tell stories, share history and get the high vibes flowing on the way to the surf. Laughter, non stop smiles and good beats make awesome memories out of the daily van rides.

The Practice of Meditation

Yesterday we immersed in Pranayama, all day today we unpack the Ancient Science of Meditation or Dhyana.

Meditation is often misunderstood. It's a deeper practice of Raja yoga aka mind training.

In yoga, TRUE meditation (Dhyana) isnโ€™t forcing the mind to be quietโ€ฆ
Itโ€™s the effortless, continuous flow of awareness on one thing โ€” no breaks, no struggle.
Just pure, unbroken presence.

Today we look at meditation through the lens of modern neuroscience, explore its ancient Vedic roots and dive headfirst into practice and different meditation techniques. If we truly want balance in our life Meditation IS THE KEY.

Be still and experience the Divine.

Today marks day one of Module 3 | Yogic Integration in our Summer YTT Course. This weekend integrates everything they've learned so far about Asana with Pranayama, Meditation and Self Inquiry. It's a magical weekend where they'll diving deep into the sacred, energetic realms.

All day today is a Pranayama (aka Cosmic Horsepower) deep dive. History, Advanced breath science and anatomy, the practice itself and the art of creating intelligent breath sequences are covered. Pranayama goes way deeper than just breath - it's a science that helps unlock the power of energy movement and energy manipulation in the body. Buckle up ya'll we're going on an epic journey within!

Tiny variations to common poses yield different details. For example, this variation of plank, where you look behind or "check your 6 o'clock" places emphasis not only upper body stability - chest, wrists, shoulders, arms and core but also adds side body lengthening via the lateral myofascial line. Peek over a shoulder and look towards your heels. Feel how a simple deviation adds a new dimension of sensation.
