Reflexions has officially moved to Melville, and I’m so happy to settle into this new chapter.

The space is cosy, clean, and calm. We're tucked inside a professional building on the corner of Stock Rd and Marmion St. It’s easy to get to, with plenty of parking and Woolworths just a few metres away, which already makes the whole experience feel smoother for everyone.

It may not be big, but it feels intentional... A space where my Pilates members can move with focus and feel genuinely seen.
Where my massage clients can sink into deep rest without distractions.
And where my counselling clients can sit with me in a room that feels safe, grounded, and made for honest conversations and real transformation.

I chose this new space because it aligns with everything I value: peaceful energy, natural light, and a sense of calmness that invites you to breathe a little deeper the moment you arrive. Melville already feels like home. There is something about the neighbourhood that feels warm and steady, like the perfect place to continue growing my work.

Transitions can be messy, but they also carry a quiet power. They remind us that we get to choose environments that nourish us. We get to evolve. We get to build spaces that match who we are becoming.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this move, from the clients who have been with me since the early days to the new faces finding their way to my door. I’m so grateful for you.

Dry needling vs acupuncture. What's the difference?

I often get asked this question, so I created a full blog to walk you through the differences between these two modalities.

The short version
Dry needling is a modern, muscle focused technique that helps release stubborn tension, headaches, neck tightness, glute pain, and postural patterns.
Acupuncture belongs to Traditional Chinese Medicine and works with energetic pathways to support whole body balance.

Same tool, completely different intention.

I often integrate dry needling with my Remedial Massage sessions when there is a need to go a little bit deeper.

When You Can’t Put It Into Words: Why We Start With the Body

Ever felt a heaviness in your chest… but no words to explain it?
Or found yourself saying, “I’m fine,” while your body is quietly telling another story?

Not all healing begins with talking.
Sometimes, talk therapy focuses on thoughts and stories, while the nervous system remains stuck in its old patterns.

But the body remembers.
It carries the unshed tears, the held breath, the braced shoulders, the clenched gut.

This is where somatic movement and breath come in.
They give the body a voice. One that speaks through sensation rather than words.
A way to gently reintroduce safety, presence, and integration.

Sometimes the first step is simply to breathe, move, and notice what’s already there.

Here at ReFLEXions, we are combining two wonderful experiences — Pilates and massages — into one tremendous facility that provides our guests with everything they need to reach a path of fulfilment and happiness.

Our team is focused on improving the individual wellbeing of our members with unique services that are based around personalisation and individuality.

We work hard each and every day to provide our guests with exceptional services that leave them feeling satisfied and excited to return for more.
