A new chapter begins... welcome to Sensō Wellness!

Sensō was born from the idea of reconnecting back to your senses and coming home to your body,
a return to presence, awareness,
and the innate intelligence of the human body.

Sensō is your invitation to slow down, reconnect, and come home to yourself. In a world that pulls us into stress and busyness, we offer a space to pause.
To breathe, soften, and remember what it feels like to be at ease in your body again.

This next chapter is a reflection of everything I’ve learned, shared, and witnessed in this space. The moments of healing, release, and reconnection.

Nothing else has changed, same care, same space, same appointments, just a new name that feels like home.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me 🤍
Come follow us at .wellness and grow with us in this new season.

What if wellness was less about doing… and more about feeling? 🌿

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much our wellbeing depends on the small, quiet moments: the pause, the breath, the awareness of what our body is trying to tell us.

Something new is coming...something created to bring more calm, connection, and meaning to how we experience care.

All will be revealed Monday, November 10th.
Same care. New energy.

Something new is coming...
A new chapter, a new energy, but the same heart and care behind it all.
Over the past six months, I’ve been quietly working on something that feels deeply aligned with how I want my clients to feel: grounded, connected, and at home in their bodies.
I can’t wait to share it with you soon, the full annoucement will be on Monday the 10th of November✨

Any guesses? I’d love to know in the comments below!

👻 🎃 Welcome to the Haunted House of Women’s Health, where the scariest things aren’t ghosts, but the myths we’re told to believe.
You step through the door, and the first whisper you hear is:
“Painful periods, irregular cycles, and mood swings? Totally normal.”
The ghost of Normalised Suffering lives here, convincing women that discomfort and imbalance are just part of being female.
Down the hall, you find The Nursery of Fear.
A voice warns:
“It’s unsafe to get adjusted when you’re pregnant.”
But the truth? Gentle chiropractic care helps your body adapt, supports your baby’s position, helps with your labour and calms your nervous system. It’s one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby.
Next room: The Therapy Chamber.
“Talk therapy will release all your emotions,” it says.
But healing isn’t just mental, emotions live in the body too. You can talk all you want, but if your body still holds tension and trauma, you’re only doing half healing.
A mirror catches your eye — The Cracking Mirror.
You twist and self-crack for a moment’s relief.
But behind the reflection you see it: temporary ease masking deeper instability. Real alignment comes from intention, not habit.
Further in, there’s The Pharmacy Hallway.
Bottles clatter, scripts pile high.
“More antibiotics to kill all the bacteria in your gut.”
Because no one asked why. No one looked to your nervous system-the command centre of immunity, healing, and regulation.
You find the exit, soft light spilling through the fog.
Outside, the air feels clearer. You realise:
You don’t have to live haunted by misinformation.
You deserve holistic, evidence-informed care that honours the intelligence of your body.
Because the truth is that your body isn’t broken. It’s amazing 💛

That “can’t sit still,” “easily distracted,” or “meltdowns after school” child?
It’s not just behaviour.
It’s the body communicating through the nervous system.

The spine isn’t just about posture, it’s the gateway to how your child’s brain and body communicate.

When the spine or nervous system is under stress (from birth, growth spurts, posture, screens, chemicals, falls, or even emotional overload), those messages can get a little… fuzzy.
That’s when we might see:
⚡️ Trouble concentrating
⚡️ Emotional outbursts
⚡️ Poor sleep
⚡️ Tummy aches or “butterflies”
⚡️ Fatigue or restlessness

As a paediatric chiropractor, I see this every day. When we restore balance to the spine and calm the nervous system, the body often finds its rhythm again.

💛 Their brain connects.
💛 Their body regulates.
💛 Their focus flows naturally. They’re calmer.

It’s not magic. It’s biology.
Because a calm, connected nervous system is the foundation for a calm, connected child. 🌿

Your nervous system is like your
body’s command center, constantly working to keep you balanced. But when it’s under too much stress for too long, it starts to send out warning signals.

Here are some signs your nervous system may be crying out for help:
1️⃣ Constant tension in your neck or shoulders.
2️⃣ Fatigue that doesn’t improve, no matter how much
you sleep.
3️⃣ Digestive issues like bloating or discomfort.
4️⃣ Brain fog, irritability, or feeling “on edge.”
5️⃣ Recurring headaches or migraines.

Ignoring these signals won’t make them go away-
they’ll likely stick around or even get worse. Rest, mindfulness, and relaxation are great, but they’re only part of the equation.
The real key? Working with your body on a deeper level to address the root cause of the stress. That’s where bodywork, like holistic chiropractic care, makes all the difference.
Through adjustments that support your nervous system, we can help your body shift out of “fight or flight” mode and into a state of calm and healing. This isn’t a quick fix— it’s about creating lasting change so you don’t stay stuck in the same cycle of pain, stress, and fatigue.
I’d love to know what signs your nervous system may be giving you! Let me know in the comments below👇🏽

It is not normal for your baby to have a strong neck so early on! 👶🏼

Newborns should not inhibit a strong neck in their first few months. I hear so many parents taking pride in their baby’s stock neck, but what they don’t know is that this could actually be an indication of dysfunction between their spine and nervous system.

After spending nine months gracefully floating in the womb, a newborn’s neck strength should still be developing. Excessive tightness in their neck muscles or constant throwing back of their head may signal issues often stemming from birth trauma, particularly with interventions such as forceps or vacuum delivery.
Strong neck strength develops over time through gentle exercises like tummy time and hitting milestones.

If you are noticing your bub doing this the best thing you can do is have your baby checked by a paediatric chiropractor for proper assessment and care before it develops into further complications.

❓Questions about what is going on with your bub and sick of being told they will “just grow out of it” when your parental instinct believes there is something going on?
