This is groundbreaking for the disability community in Australia. Plus currently operates from one site – at unit 5, 10 Rodborough Road, Frenchs Forest, NSW – with plans to expand in the coming years.

Mikey’s enthusiasm at Plus has been especially contagious lately.

After transitioning from high school in 2025, Mikey now attends Plus five days a week. Supported by an individualised program developed by his team, he is engaging in meaningful, structured activities that nurture his fine motor skills and concentration.

It’s been wonderful to see Mikey continuing to grow in confidence while embracing opportunities tailored to his strengths and goals.

There’s nothing quite like having Narrabeen Lake on our doorstep! Lindsey loves taking a stroll around the lake, enjoying the peaceful scenery and watching the ducks swim by. These simple moments in nature provide relaxation, connection and a chance to enjoy the outdoors, making every walk an adventure.

Kai is one of our newer participants, currently transitioning from school, and he’s making a fantastic start at Plus. What a great way to enjoy a sunny day at the hub - getting hands on by washing cars and hosing down the garden! These practical, hands-on tasks help build confidence, independence and a sense of achievement, all while having fun and enjoying time outdoors.

Our gardening program continues to offer meaningful, hands on learning opportunities. This month, Winfred took the lead with the lawn mower and helped keep our large outdoor space looking its best. Mowing is no small task, yet Winfred approached it with confidence, focus and care, and he is quickly building strong skills in this area.
