Wearing Pink This Week to Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month πŸ’žπŸŽ€

This week at our clinic, we’re encouraging everyone to wear pink to their sessions to help raise awareness and show support for those affected in our community.

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common amongst females. Early detection and healthy lifestyle choices, including regular exercise, can play a powerful role in prevention, recovery, and improving quality of life during treatment.

At Move, we are proud to support individuals living with dementia through both 1:1 and group exercise sessions. Physical activity can be incredibly beneficial for brain health, improving both mental and physical well-being. Whether in a group or individual setting, exercise helps enhance cognitive function, improve mood, and increase overall quality of life for those with dementia. 🧠πŸ’ͺ

This week, during Dementia Action Week, we encourage you to get involved and help spread awareness. If you’re in the Gawler area, join Dementia Care Alliance Gawler this Wednesday 17th September for a Community Connect at the Gawler Civic Centre CafΓ©. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet others in the local community, connect with individuals and families impacted by dementia, and learn more about how we can all make a difference. 🀝
