✔️Give the chance to practice skills in holiday group sessions

✔️Allow time to review goals and check in with parents and caregivers

✔️Provide a fresh environment to work on different goals (especially for our on-the-road clients!)

ASD Assessment Availability 🚨

Vivacity Psychology, Little Lambs Speech Pathology and Cindy Calvert-Leighton Speech Pathology are now taking bookings for ASD assessments over the summer holidays.

They are encouraging families to register ASAP so teacher observations can be completed before the end of the school year. Their multidisciplinary approach includes observations across multiple environments, providing a thorough, accurate picture that meets NDIS and Autism SA requirements with no paediatrician confirmation needed.

💰Cost: ASD only – $2300 ($500 deposit to secure the date) *Some schools have been funding assessments

Clinic Update: We’re Open Again 🙌🏻

After precautionary checks following the sand recall, our clinic has now received the all-clear. All sessions will resume as normal from tomorrow, the 25th of November.

We want to express our appreciation to all the families, caregivers, and external sites impacted by the temporary closure. Your flexibility and understanding meant we could keep therapy running as smoothly as possible, thank you!

Important Safety Update 🚨

We want to update our families about the coloured sand that had been used in our building. At this time we are unaware that any of the coloured sand we’ve had in the clinic was not part of the recent national recall, and there is no indication that it posed any risk to clients or staff.

We have decided to take a pre-cautionary approach though, and we will be closing the clinic until Tuesday the 25th of November, to be cleaned and assessed for clearance. One of our staff will be in touch with you to discuss options, and ask that you consider our small business when taking options to ensure this impact is minimal to the services we provide.

We will continue to work closely with environmental and facility professionals to ensure our space is safe and compliant with all current standards. At this time, there is no concern, and this action is purely precautionary.

We have also removed all coloured sand from the building and will not use it again until we receive further guidance from safety experts and suppliers.

We appreciate your support as we take steps to maintain the safest environment possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly. We will continue to share updates as we receive them.

January School Holiday Groups ☀️

Our January holiday groups are now open for booking, and we can’t wait to kick off the new year with fun, skill-building sessions!

Each group is facilitated by our clinicians and allied health assistants. While we highly recommend attending all three weeks of a selected group to support consistency, progress and confidence, families are welcome to book individual weeks or mix-and-match any groups that suit their needs.

Bookings can be made via the QR code, the link in our story highlights, or by contacting our admin team. A confirmation email will be sent closer to the date once numbers and final cost are confirmed.

Happy Thursday everyone and another big happy DE Week to our amazing Developmental Educators! 💜

Today, we’re celebrating the many ways our DEs support clients to achieve their goals!

⭐️ Bethany, our Senior Developmental Educator, has days that can look completely different, from supporting clients to problem-solve through games, to helping them develop the skills they’ll need as they prepare to take on the big wide world of adulthood.

⭐️ Dani’s days are all about play! From messy to imaginative play, she supports our littlest clients to build foundational developmental skills, from preparing for school to developing early play and social skills.

⭐️ Georgia, our wonderful AHA (and soon-to-be new graduate DE!), spends her days helping clients strengthen key skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether it’s board games or obstacle courses, Georgia’s ready for anything her clients might need!
