One of the biggest myths about chiropractic care is that “once you start, you have to go forever.”
Let’s clear that up.
Most people who begin care with us do need some repetition at the start. Not because we’re creating dependency — but because patterns that have been building for years don’t unwind in one visit.
Most people don’t come in at the first sign of dysfunction.
They come in when their body has been compensating for a long time… and it’s finally loud enough to interrupt their life.
That takes consistency to shift.
But here’s the truth:
You do not have to come forever.
You always get to choose.
Some people come regularly because they value proactive nervous system care and want to stay adaptable and functioning well.
Some come for acute or chronic pain and taper off once they’re stable.
Some pop in occasionally when life throws them curveballs.
Our job is not to create dependency.
And your health should never rely on being dependent on anyone.
If you needed us forever just to function, that wouldn’t be empowerment — that would be another pattern.
Care should increase your awareness, resilience, and capacity — not take it away.
You’re always in choice
