Well… what a year. It’s been big, busy, full-on — and if I’m honest, a little bit exhausting. I have a feeling I’m not the only one feeling ready for a proper breather. I’m very much looking forward to a few days where I completely lose track of what day it is and do absolutely nothing work-related — and I love that feeling.
Before I properly switch off, I really wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for all your support and encouragement throughout the year. Whether you’ve purchased a kit, suggested a quote or idea for a collection, shared feedback, or even joined me on one of our papercrafting cruises — please know how grateful I am. Without you, I simply wouldn’t have a business.
The second half of the year certainly revved up, with me tripling my usual paper runs for a couple of collections. All up, 11 collections were designed this year — and while I had hoped to squeeze in one a month, time got the better of me. Still, I’m incredibly proud of what was created, and it was only possible because of your ongoing support.
I also can’t thank you enough for recommending my kits and passing the word on to your friends. I don’t do a lot of advertising, so my business has truly grown through word of mouth — and that’s entirely because of you. Because of this, please stay tuned for a loyalty program I’m hoping to introduce with the first collection next year. It will reward you with points that can be converted into dollars — for joining, referring a friend, and for what you spend. I’m still putting the finishing touches on it, but I’ll share all the details as soon as it’s ready (a little project for my spare time!).
For now, I just want to wish you all a safe, fun, and truly Merry Christmas. I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and special moments. Hug those around you and hold them close. And for those of you who have recently lost loved ones — and I know some of you have — please know you are in my prayers. I hope you can still find moments of peace and reflect on the beautiful memories of those not with us this year.
I hope you also have the chance to pause and take a moment to remember the true reason for this season, — our Lord Jesus, the greatest gift of all - the One who makes everything I somehow manage to do possible.
So I guess this is over and out for another year. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait to see what the New Year brings for us all.
Lots of love,
Mel
