Happy New Year!

Grateful in so many ways! Today, Jan 1st, I’m not resting a weary head from celebrating. I’m nurturing my body, currently challenged with a coldy, chesty funkiness!

Not ideal, but I’m sure my body is alerting me to working it very hard in the lead up to the end of year.

I have had to reschedule treatments, taking it slow to ensure I can show up for you all once I’m better.

Rescheduling feels hard for me because I don’t like letting you down, however I also practice what I preach - listening to your body for what it needs in the moment. I wholeheartedly appreciate your understanding and wishes.

Thank you for a phenomenal 2025 and for understanding the hiccups of 2026 (already 🤦🏽‍♀️)

I have some new ideas for 2026 and will be spending my downtime putting together something very unique for you and your whole body, mind and future self love.

2026 is going to mean soo much more…

It’s that time of the year when we don’t even know what day it is, we are catching up with friends and family and cooking up Christmas feasts.
Whilst I enjoy my quiet Christmas I wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to everyone for a wonderful year.
Many of you came in for regular treatments to keep the niggles at bay, Frozen shoulder treatment, relaxation and with the newest treatments including Menopause support and Chronic Pain management treatments that both included coaching support, all in all you have kept me very busy and loving looking after you.

I wish you a wonderful Christmas break, however you are spending it. 🎄🎄

Breathwork has changed my life and today is going to be a special treat for myself as it’s been a long time since I have had a guided breathwork 1:1 session. Today I’m trusting Nikki from to hold my space and explore what comes up within the session.
Now, just like you, I ‘hold’ onto my emotions at times and I know they’re stored in all sorts of places in my body.
Today, I’ll be open minded and let some things go.
I’m nervous, I’m excited and I’m grateful.

OMG!

How did I miss this?!

How long have I been listening and hearing so many of you talk about the challenges you’re going through as peri and menopausal women, and I’ve only just realised that NONE of you have experiencd a hot flush on the treatment table?!

So I’ve been spending some time figuring it out.

* you feel safe
* you feel relaxed
* you feel heard and not judged
* you enjoy the space and time where you can switch off
* you feel supported by a fellow menopausal woman
* your nervous system is saying ‘ahhhh, I can breathe, let it out and relax for a while’

Ooooh how I love that’s how you feel when you’re here.

I love to listen, support and hold you where you need it.

I love working with you and teaching you more about your nervous system and how you can regulate it, for the oh-so-many ways you benefit from this amazing experience.

I love to see and hear how you’ve been open to and experienced something a little bit different, a little bit hippy-dippy and yet so powerfully relaxing for you.

Can the amazingly beautiful peeps who follow Note to Self help each other out in some way this Christmas?

What is one thing you absolutely NEED but cannot afford right now?

Everyone check to see what others say. Maybe you have it and don't need it or have a connection to get it. Never know who we can help or how we can help each other.

Please don't ask for money, things like a Christmas tree or something you may need for your kids or need help with your yard, reasonable things that people may be able to help with.

(I saw this in another towns group post and thought it was a really nice way to watch people connect and help each other! 🤗

November is men’s mental health month and the Highton Bowls Club is all over it!! A little birdy told me that the fellas at our great local club have decided to bring awareness to men’s mental health and fundraise by having Steaks and Mates nights every Wednesday starting 12/11.
