Day 4 - Our day in Fremantle was an experience bursting with vibrancy, colour, and culture. From the moment we stepped into the iconic Fremantle Markets, the smells, sounds, and sights had everyone on the hunt for that perfect little treasure to take home. We explored walking around and taking in all the street art, with a little stop off for some souvenir shopping on the way to lunch.
Lunch was a lively catch-up with participants families at Little Creatures Brewing, where great food and local craft brews and fantastic inclusive service set the tone for warm conversations and laughter.
Elle got a special visit from her Uncle Nick & Aunty Ol while Jack had his Pa Peter, Uncle Adam, Aunty Claudia and Cousin Karl, all were so overjoyed to see their loved ones, for some it had been several years since they last caught up 🥰
Though the weather had other plans and cut our exploring short, we managed a stop at one of Fremantle’s most iconic spots — the Containbow. Set beside the Port and the flowing Swan River, it made for the perfect photo-op before heading home.
The day ended just right with home cooked dinner, stay tuned as we plan on popping back to Fremantle and exploring a little bit more later in the trip it is cheap, beautiful, not to come back.
