TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 💡
SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST | OCEAN GROVE
Senior Remedial Massage Therapist Lisa Wright has over 16 years’ experience working with people from all walks of life — from newborns and pregnant women to the elderly and elite athletes.
Guided by her motto relax, repair and revive, Lisa believes that movement should never stop, but that sometimes rest is just as vital in the rehabilitation journey. Her treatments are designed to help clients continue doing what they love, whether that’s sport, work, parenting, or simply moving through daily life with less pain and more ease.
Lisa tailors every session to the individual, adapting her approach to meet each client’s specific needs. From lower back pain, tight and stressed shoulders, and insomnia, to deep relaxation that leaves you feeling restored and energised — no two treatments are ever the same.
Her specialties include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and cupping, with extensive experience in sports massage, dry needling, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage and remedial care. Lisa is passionate about client education and self-help, regularly sharing rehabilitation strategies and stretches to support both physical and mental recovery.
Lisa thrives on challenges — both professionally and personally. She loves helping clients rebuild trust in their bodies, even when recovery feels daunting. That same mindset has her preparing for an advanced ski camp in remote Japan in February — equal parts nervous and excited, and hoping her legs remember everything she’s been teaching her clients.
Outside the clinic, Lisa keeps active with strength training and long walks with her two dogs. Her greatest passion is the mountains — skiing, snowboarding, hiking and anything alpine. Mention Japan and she’ll happily talk your ear off (fair warning). And probably with a reminder that growth often lives just outside our comfort zone.
