The reason this matters now is that the energy begins to shift in a much bigger way toward the end of the month.
On January 26th, Neptune moves into Aries, where it will remain until March 23, 2039. The last time Neptune entered Aries was in 1861 - the American Civil War began two days later.
That historical echo matters.
Neptune in Aries is a wake-up call. This is the signature of the spiritual warrior.
You can’t just hope that things will improve, personally or collectively. You’re being asked to tap into your inner fire - to act with intention, courage, and conscience.
Saturn, the planet of structure, responsibility, and boundaries, has been traveling alongside Neptune since 2024, reshaping how we live, work, and relate to authority.
Saturn builds systems. Neptune dissolves them.
Together, we’ve watched structures that once seemed untouchable disappear almost overnight. We’ve seen borders blur - not just geographically, but in how and where people live, work, and belong.
On February 13th, Saturn enters Aries.
Then, on February 17th, we have a Ring of Fire eclipse, marking the official beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse.
Just days later, on February 20th, Saturn and Neptune meet at zero degrees Aries, the very beginning of the zodiac.
Pay attention to what’s happening now.
This is the opening chapter of changes that will unfold over the next twenty years, as the outer planets move into Fire and Air signs.
When Saturn meets Neptune in Aries, people in power often feel emboldened to use force. Aries is the sign of war, aggression, and domination.
This is a combustible year.
