A couple of conversations in clinic recently have helped curate this post.
A gentle reminder that if all this talk of shedding and change feels like it hasn’t quite made it to the visible aspects of your life yet, that is aligned with the energy of the year that was.

It isn’t very often that we see the snake out in the open, it’s more likely hiding somewhere quiet. The horse, however, enjoys being admired.

And just like the energies these metaphysical animals represent, the focus will shift this year too.

With the new year quickly approaching, I wanted to offer small insights into this years energy.

I have had lots of conversations with people who are very excited for this year, and a few who are hesitant.

This year offers energy that we can work with. That we can weave into our lives and help to encourage change and perhaps upgrades to our daily life.

Hopeful that this small intro can ease some overwhelm and perhaps encourage more understanding of approaching this yearly offering.

The sun has been seen as being the giver of all life. This could be the year you grow more then you ever thought possible.

Taiwanese researchers discovered acupuncture triggering stem cell release healing damaged organs naturally. Scientists at China Medical University found that electroacupuncture at specific meridian points stimulates bone marrow to release mesenchymal stem cells into circulation, which then migrate to injured organs and promote tissue repair.
This mechanism explains some of acupuncture’s therapeutic effects through measurable biological processes.
Taiwanese researchers using advanced imaging and cellular tracking discovered that needle stimulation at specific points triggers measurable stem cell mobilization.
Electroacupuncture (needles with mild electrical current) at ST36 (Zusanli point) and GV20 (Baihui point) causes a 300% increase in circulating stem cells within 24 hours.
These mobilized stem cells express homing signals drawing them to damaged tissues-injured liver, heart, kidneys, or brain-where they differentiate into organ-specific cells and release healing factors. It’s like acupuncture triggers the body’s internal repair dispatch system.
Stroke patients receiving electroacupuncture within 48 hours of stroke showed 40% better functional recovery than those receiving standard care alone. Liver cirrhosis patients showed reduced fibrosis markers. Heart attack survivors demonstrated improved cardiac function. The mechanism is entirely biological-traced stem cells from bone marrow to damaged organs.

Giddy up. From February 14th we are welcoming a new energetic offering for the year, the Fire Horse.

This robust energy has explosive power to ignite and propel us toward greatness.

Join us as we deep dive the energy, the themes of the year, health influences and how the horse impacts your astrological sign.

Ba Zi is Chinese astrology. Thousands of years of practice has cultivated this art to allow us to understand how to move with greater flow in life.

This event will also include a yin yoga practice, intentionally curated to support the meridians that are connected to the energy of the Horse.
