The Geelong rumour mill has been working overtime lately with whispers of big changes at Cosy Coordination..
So let’s set the record straight.
✨ COSY IS NOT CLOSING OUR DOORS ✨
As many of you know, COSY has been working and developing new services and aim to increase the supports we can offer participants!
With the future in mind, we are proudly evolving in line with the NDIS space and despite the rumours, we will continue to be a strong and positive presence in the Geelong Disability community.
Over the past 18 months Cosy have expanded well beyond traditional Support Coordination — building strong knowledge in:
🌿 Skill Building
🎓 Life Transitions
📚 Further Education Supports
🤝 Capacity Building
🏡 Independence Development
These services are alive, well, and continuing to grow.
So, what is changing?
With the significant shifts happening across the Support Coordination space, COSY will be transitioning away from this being our primary focus. Instead, we are leaning into the areas where we know we create the greatest long-term impact — building skills, confidence, independence and sustainable supports.
We also want to acknowledge that these changes do come with staffing adjustments. Change can feel unsettling — but please know, you are not alone. Our commitment to participants and families remains strong, and continuity of support remains a priority throughout this transition.
To everyone who has been patient and allowed us time to personally advise our participants— thank you.
Thank you for helping us to prevent unnecessary stress or confusion. Your trust means everything to us.
Despite the challenges in our industry, COSY remains committed, resilient and focused on positive impact.
