Exciting news from our CY2 TEC Group! Today, one of our participants completed a prototype for a guitar hook that he designed himself. He’s made it for the CY2 music group, who will be testing it out soon. Amazing effort and creativity , great job Mat !

Our music group has been rocking it out lately bringing energy, passion, and unity to every performance!
There’s something truly powerful about participating in programs like this it's not just about the music, it's about growth, teamwork, and that incredible sense of accomplishment you feel when you step away knowing you were a part of something so fun.

We are developing new Practice Standards for Supported Independent Living (SIL).

They’re being shaped by:

- What we’re hearing from NDIS participants
- Recommendations and insights from reviews including The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability (DRC), the NDIS Review, and the NDIS Provider and Worker Taskforce
- Our co-design partnership with Inclusion Australia

and will focus on:

- Quality and safety
- Worker training
- Human rights and participant-centred supports.

We couldn’t let this milestone pass without sharing it with you all. One of our incredible participants recently achieved one of her personal goals—recording her own CD—right here in our in-house studio!

With the dedicated support of our team and the creative freedom provided by our music program, her voice and talent have been brought to life in a truly special way.

A massive congratulations to her on this amazing achievement! 👏
And a heartfelt thank you to our passionate music crew—Helen, Josh, Shannon, Rowan, and Robyn—for bringing this vision to reality through guidance, encouragement, and heart.
