A highlight this year has been the growth of our OTLR network. We’ve had the chance to collaborate with new partners — both philanthropic and private — who genuinely believe in the work we’re doing in the community.

It’s been amazing to see organisations step forward and want to support OTLR. Every contribution, big or small, has created meaningful impact for the clubs and communities we support. It’s work I’m really proud of.

As we head into 2026, I’m excited by the momentum we’re building and grateful for the people who choose OTLR. I can’t wait to see what 2026 will bring.

The Fools Golf Club is a social golf community created to bring together players of all skill levels for a day of friendly competition, light-hearted banter, surprising shots, and genuine connection.

Thanks to Cam’s dedication in building the Fools Golf community, we were able to host more than 90 golfers at Box Hill for a day filled with fun, purpose, and camaraderie.

The event served as a major fundraiser for OTLR, raising over $16,000 to support our work. Now in its second year, this partnership continues to grow, and we at OTLR are excited to see how far we can take it together.

2025. What a year.

For Outside The Locker Room, this year has been about growth, reconnection and real impact, across sporting clubs, schools, workplaces and communities.

Every session delivered meant another conversation started.
Another safe space created.
Another person reminded they don’t have to carry things alone.

None of this happens without our people.

To our incredible Facilitators, Welfare Champions, committee members and every person who has supported, donated, partnered or trusted us with their community, thank you. Truly.

A huge thank you to Redefine Life, Ahead of the Game, our wellbeing partners and the many clubs and schools who welcomed us in. Together, we reached more communities than ever before and helped strengthen connection where it matters most.

We’re proud of the numbers but even prouder of the moments behind them.

Here’s to 2026.

Bonbeach Football / Netball Club has led the way for mental wellbeing in their community, consistently showing up for their players and their members.

In 2025, it marks 10 years of Bonbeach FNC and OTLR working together to support their communities welfare and ongoing positive wellbeing.

This is a major highlight for CEO Todd Morgan - "Paul and the team at Bonbeach FNC have truly shown what a connected and supportive sporting culture is. We have enjoyed every session we have had with Bonbeach and are continually impressed with how positive and committed each member of Bonbeach is. If you are looking for a club to model off, this is it."

Last night at Bayswater Park Cricket Club felt like one of those full-circle moments you don’t forget.

Tim returned to the club where he and Cam, the creator of Fools Golf, once played juniors together. And thanks to the funds raised at the Fools Golf Charity Day, we were able to deliver a powerful OTLR session for the players, coaches and community.

It’s pretty special when support comes from people who genuinely get the club, its culture and the community behind it. Moments like this remind us why connection matters and why these conversations are so important.

What a session with Lower Plenty Cricket Club ! The energy, curiosity and openness from everyone was incredible. Nights like these spark conversations, build resilience and remind young people they’re never alone. Every chat matters and every connection counts.

A huge thank you to Banyule City Council for funding this session and helping us bring mental wellbeing education directly to local athletes.
