💙🚂 Kids Running for Kids – Making a Difference! 🚂💙

The Rotary Club of Emerald and District is proud to share that President Peter Brock and Kids Fun Run with Puffing Billy Committee Chair Ken Miller recently presented Sarah Bartel from the Eastern Health Foundation with a cheque for $39,000!

These funds were raised through the incredible support of our community at the Rotary Kids Fun Run with Puffing Billy held last November. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the event — this amazing result simply wouldn’t have been possible without you. 🙌

The funds are already helping create something very special. Artist Tess Dawson has begun painting beautiful scenes inspired by the wildlife and activities of the Dandenong Ranges to brighten the children’s areas at Angliss Hospital. 🎨

While we hope families never need to see these murals, if they do, we hope they bring a little colour, comfort and joy to children and their families during their stay.

This is truly what our event is all about — kids running for kids. ❤️
