Ruth and Chev had a fantastic time at Connected Beginnings Kipli & Kani today. It was great to meet new people, service providers, and enjoy playing together.

We also had a lovely delivery today from our friends at Loaves and Fishes. Drop by and make sure to fill up a bag with lots of fresh veg and bread for your family.

Our improvement goals in action! In 2026, one of our centre goals is to further develop our integrated service delivery model at George Town, making it easier for you and your family to access supports when you need them.

Today parents worked with Ruth on a service mapping activity to share their expertise and help us build a shared knowledge of all the different supports available for families in and around our community. So many ideas were shared, and we all learned something new from each other. You can join in all week - check out the ideas of others, as well as jot down your own thoughts and suggestions.

Join us today for lots of fun and learning.

📚💛 Celebrating Libraries ‘Tasmania Reads’ at the George Town Child and Family Learning Centre.

When children and families read and shares stories together, they’re not just enjoying a book—they’re being part of the story of building a lifelong love of reading and learning. Every story shared helps children feel connected, confident, and curious. We’re proud to support families as they nurture early language, imagination, and belonging—one story at a time.

We had so much fun last week. Join us again today for lots of fun and learning.

We have an amazing team of both CFLC staff, partner, and visiting services here to look after you and your family in 2026. But have you ever wondered exactly who that “just right” person is to talk to or check in with? Or wondered, who is that service partner and what is it that they offer? Not even sure about all the services available to you and your family?

Check out “Meet the Team” profiles which are being rolled out online and in the centre so you can get to know us all a bit better.

Share and spread the word about the amazing supports available for families in our community.

We are excited for kilpi and kani next week! Pop it in your diary.
