Welcome to the George Town Child and Family Centre at the Community Hub, including services for Child and Family Centre, Library Tasmania, Service Tasmania, and Child Health and Parenting. The George Town Child and Family Centre provides a range of activities and services for families throughout pregnancy and supporting through the important first five years. The Child and Family Centre is for ALL families in the community and provides a space where

-Families with young children can meet and connect
-Young children can learn and grow with quality Early Learning programs
-Parents can build their parenting skills and knowledge
-Children with additional developmental needs can access supports. Programs at the Centre include:
-Launching into Learning Sessions
-Early Childhood Intervention Services

Next Wednesday is the Launceston Cup and the CFLC will be closed. We reopen on Thursday 26th February.
Due to the closure on Wednesday Loave and Fishes are dropping off their goodies on Monday 23rd so be sure to pop in and grab some extra ingredients for your family at the start of next week.

Our wonderful CFLC community member Priya is joining us on Wednesday to share some of her home cooking with us all! At 11:00, Priya will teach us to make momo’s chatpate followed by shared taste testing for everyone at 12:30.

Want to join in and learn to cook? Please contact Ruth as numbers are limited.
If eating is more your speed than cooking, everyone is invited to join to observe the group in the kitchen, and then join in to try some of Priya’s delicious food.
