This week we are putting the spotlight on our Team Leader, Precious! Precious is the definition of an amazing leader and person. We asked Precious some questions about his role and why he chose the sector, check out his responses below 👇

🌟What made you start working in Disability?

My journey into disability support began from a genuine passion for empowering people and making a meaningful impact in their daily lives. I’ve always been drawn to supporting individuals with complex psychosocial needs and helping them live independently, with dignity and choice.

🌟What’s one thing you’ve learned from working with the clients you support?

I’ve learned the true value of patience, empathy, and flexibility. Each person’s journey is unique, and progress looks different for everyone. Supporting people through challenging moments while celebrating their wins, no matter how small, has been incredibly humbling.

🌟What is your favourite part of the job and why?

My favourite part is connecting with client and their families, and seeing them achieve their personal goals (whether it’s improving daily routines, joining social activities, or developing new skills). Watching that growth and seeing improved quality of life reinforces why I chose this career.

🌟What do you like about working for Care Squad?

Care Squad has a genuinely supportive culture where teamwork, respect, and client wellbeing come first. I appreciate how management values staff input and recognises the hard work we put into delivering quality care. The sense of purpose and collaboration here makes it an excellent place to grow. And the growth is amazing.

At Care Squad, we’re lucky to have Jade leading the way as one of our dedicated Service Managers. 💪

Jade thrives on supporting our staff through upskilling and development — helping every team member reach their full potential. She’s equally passionate about working alongside clients, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and live life to the fullest.

With extensive experience in supporting clients with high physical health needs, Jade brings compassion, expertise, and a hands-on approach to everything she does, including doing shifts! is there nothing she can't do. 💫

When Jade isn't busy at work you will find her with her daughter at dance competitions you will find her either listening to podcasts or watching documentaries.

When Rishi isn’t at his desk, you’ll most likely find him spending time with his family, travelling, or in the gym getting “those gains”! 💪

With over 15 years of experience in the disability and mental health sector, Rishi’s passion lies in ensuring that everyone feels they belong — that they are safe, seen, and supported. His forte is complex mental health, and he truly believes that with the right care and compassion, every person can thrive.

At Care Squad, we’re more than a service — we’re a community that celebrates individuality and inclusion.

🌟 Weekly Snapshot 🌟

This week, our client enjoyed a trip to Old Tailem Town, exploring the charm of Australia’s past.

The drive was filled with cheerful conversation about familiar people and memories.

We were warmly welcomed and had the chance to view a beautiful vintage white car on display.

A thoughtful gift bag at the end of the visit brought a smile and rounded off the outing on a positive note.
