Let's Bee Sensory

Let's Bee Sensory Let’s Bee Sensory 🐝
Messy play for under 5s – without the clean-up! Fun for them, no mess for you!

Let your little one explore their senses through touch, sound, smell, sight, and taste (all taste-safe!). Sensory play is not only fun but educational as children learn through play and exploring. We will build on our fine and gross motor skills, language development all while making some mess! A clean up area will be provided for after the class and we also suggest you bring a change of clothes for your little one.

I wanted to share this beautiful message I received from one of our gorgeous mums who attends Baby Bee on Fridays 🀍

β€˜Your baby is never too little for play’

Even in the first few months, your little one is already learning through every cuddle, sound, and touch!

Sensory playgroups are designed to gently support your baby’s early development while giving you a chance to connect, share, and feel inspired.

Baby benefits: calm, comfort, and early brain growth
Parent benefits: confidence, community, and new ideas to bring home

OT fun facts!

Myth 1: β€œMy baby is too young to benefit from play.”
Fact: Even newborns learn through touch, sound, movement, and interaction. Every cuddle, song, or gentle sensory experience helps their brain develop.

Myth 2: β€œTummy time isn’t necessary until they can roll.”
Fact: Supervised tummy time from birth helps build neck, shoulder, and core strength, laying the foundation for rolling, crawling, and reaching.

Myth 3: β€œBabies only learn through looking and listening.”
Fact: Babies learn best when all their senses are engaged β€” touch, movement, smell, and even taste (for older infants) all contribute to development.

As both a paediatric OT and a new mum, I personally became inspired by the Let’s Bee Sensory-themed activities β€” they gave me fresh, fun ways to play with my own baby at home too and ways to encourage tummy time for my baby who previously refused!

Every smile, song, and snuggle counts. Come join us and see just how much your baby can already enjoy.

Every Friday, 0–12 months
