February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
Every year in Australia, around 1,900 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer - often at an advanced stage when it’s harder to treat. That’s why raising awareness matters.
This month, we’re joining the movement to educate, advocate and elevate voices affected by ovarian cancer.
🔹 Know the signs: persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, feeling full quickly, frequent urination and other subtle symptoms should not be ignored.
🔹 There’s no early detection screening test, so talking to your GP about symptoms that are new, persistent or unusual is important.
🔹 Wear teal this February to spark conversations and support those impacted.
Together we can help raise awareness, support families, and push for progress in research and care.
