Aptly said by my colleague Brad Moffit - we really should get continuing professional education credits when recovering from our own injuries….Learning empathy through lived experience as well as detailed biomechanics. Patience as a patient for robust knee rehab 🦵

I have a client who jokes about thinking he should claim his appointments as a tax expense as it’s during the massage that he comes up with solutions to technical problems that he’s working on! Bodywork is also good for your brain 🤗 Legitimate business essential?!

The Story of Moving in Tune

How you feel in your body is how you experience the world.

What I do is help you learn how to look after yourself in order to live more vibrantly.

I have always been happiest when I am present, ‘in my body’ and exploring. This lead me to study remedial massage in 2009 as a skill that was very transportable, allowed me to work with people in a hands on capacity and be part of a healthy living community. Being able to shift aches and pains that people have been putting up with (attributing to old age or some other story) but don’t actually have to be that way, is very satisfying.

My first experience with Feldenkrais pre-dates my massage career, when I was the youngest member of a youth theatre performance ensemble. Feldenkrais was part of our body/movement warm ups and it left a very strong and engaging impression on me – moving in ways I had never imagined before, it left me feeling tall and free. I knew it was something I wanted to explore further.
