Are you suffering from knee pain?
Some common causes of knee pain are:
Osteoarthritis: Degenerative "wear-and-tear" where cartilage deteriorates with age.
Injuries: Ligament tears (ACL/MCL), torn meniscus, or fractures from twisting, falling, or high-impact sports.
Overuse: Repetitive motion (running, jumping) causing inflammation, or kneeling for long periods.
Inflammatory Conditions: Rheumatoid arthritis, gout (uric acid crystals), or pseudogout.
Patellofemoral Pain: Pain behind the kneecap often caused by improper tracking, frequently called "runner's knee".
Some knee conditions can be managed with self-care, however you should seek professional medical advice if the pain is severe or persistent for more than a few weeks, or if you experience:
Significant swelling.
Inability to bear weight.
The knee locks, clicks, or gives way.
Fever, combined with knee pain
