Today is Remembrance Day - a minutes silence at 11am

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the moment when the armistice ending World War I went into effect, bringing a four-year conflict to a halt. In the aftermath of the war, the day became known as Armistice Day, and a moment of silence was observed to remember those who had died. The day's name was later changed to Remembrance Day. Today, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is a time for nations around the world to pause and remember all service members who have served and sacrificed in any conflict.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget

Urologists deal with conditions affecting men's health including prostate and testicular cancer and early detection is key to better outcomes.

Early prostate cancer often has no symptoms, but when they occur, they can include urinary problems like a weak stream, frequent urination, or blood in the urine or semen.
Testicular cancer most commonly presents as a painless lump, swelling, or change in the size or shape of a testicle. Other symptoms can include a feeling of heaviness in the sc***um, pain or discomfort in the testicle, and a sudden build-up of fluid in the sc***um.

Remember that early intervention = better outcomes

Speak to your GP about changes and symptoms.

Say welcome and hello to our September babies!

September is always recorded as the busiest month of the year for baby births - perhaps something to do with all the Christmas cheer and celebrations!

We had lots of sweet bundles to welcome in Spring - all eager to join their families.

September saw us joined by another set of twins - boy and girl and lots of new babies with 53% boys and 47% girls.

September birthstone: Saphire
September birthflower: Morning Glory and Aster

A.A. Milne - the author of Winnie the Pooh said this about Spring -
"The spring has sprung, the grass is rizz. I wonder where them birdies is?"
A lovely bit of whimsy for our happy arrivals.

Please join us in congratulating our new families and saying welcome to their Spring bundles - wherever they is!
