Mums keep asking me the same question:
“Is it actually worth doing an abdominoplasty and a breast lift together?”

Short answer: YES — and here’s why so many women are choosing the combined approach right now.

One surgery. One recovery. Two areas pregnancy changes the most.

A breast lift (mastopexy) can address breast ptosis without changing your breast size. If you’re satisfied with your volume but want a higher position on the chest wall and removal of excess skin, a lift without implants may be suitable.

It can help improve:
• Breast ptosis
• Limited upper-pole volume
• Skin irritation or rashes

Who may be eligible?
• Good physical health
• Non-smoker (or willing to stop)
• Realistic expectations
• No medications that interfere with anaesthesia or recovery, including birth control pills or anti-inflammatories (as advised)

A consultation with Dr Kernohan will help determine the most appropriate approach for your goals.

Bilateral Breast Reduction – “Hall-Findlay” Technique

We’re sharing a look at before and after results for a bilateral breast reduction using the Hall-Findlay technique with a short inverted ‘T’ scar.

Procedure Details:
➡️ Operating time: 3 hours
➡️ 1 drain removed prior to discharge
➡️ 1 night hospital stay

Recovery:
➡️ Most patients take 2–3 weeks off work
➡️ Gentle return to exercise (like the gym) at around 6 weeks
➡️ Scars typically take 9–12 months to fully mature

This procedure can help improve comfort, posture, and proportion while delivering long-lasting results.

The Trifecta Lift is an advanced cosmetic eyelid procedure designed to reinvigorate the midface area. This technique combines a lower blepharoplasty with volume adjustment in the middle facial floor and skin resurfacing procedures, which may include laser therapy, mesotherapy, or chemical peels.

In cases where an upper blepharoplasty or eyebrow lift (surgical or non-surgical) may also be appropriate, the procedure is referred to as a Quadfecta Lift.

Dr Kernohan will discuss the Trifecta Lift, including its potential benefits, the steps involved, and what to expect during the recovery process.

For anyone considering cosmetic procedures, it’s important to seek a consultation with a qualified specialist to discuss suitability, risks, and realistic outcomes.
