Today we lost one of the greatest lights of our time and my personal hero.

Dr. Jane Goodall showed us that gentleness can change the world. She saw chimpanzees not as subjects, but as family. She reminded us that every being—animal, human, or tree—is part of the same tapestry of life.

What I’ll remember most is her hope. Even when faced with cruelty and destruction, she never gave up on believing in the possibility of change—and inviting us to believe too.

Jane’s legacy lives on every time we choose compassion, every time we protect the earth, every time we pause long enough to truly listen.

Thank you, Jane, for showing us how to be human. 🌿✨🐒

Never again am I going to be greeted by this beauty awaiting meal times at the hay shed.

Never again will I hear the soft nicker of Arizona communicating her needs gently & decisively.

Never again will I feel the warmth of her physical presence, her soft warm breath or to be put in my place by this girl.

32 years young.

Yesterday my princess took the opportunity of the solstice gateway to make her transition from the earthly plane. ✨️ It was sudden & unexpected. Leaving a kind of hollow silence on the property.

My deepest gratitude to beautiful neighbour Dave Cannon who offered support to lay her to rest, with so much dignity, compassion, heart.

This dear soul offered herself up as first inline. Her name is Essense. She is the 2nd youngest & the smallest in the herd. She is also the one who hangs back from the rest of the herd until she feels completely safe. Not necessarily the bottom of the pecking order, though. Huge aura.
Essence made her presence strongly felt awhile ago & wanted to discuss connection & belonging. The need to feel connection, to feel safe, to be seen, to be heard. Bless her, Essence insisted on been groomed & adorned with the herbal flower Feverfew which is said to be grounding, protective & purifying. This allowed her to feel completely seen & heard. That is the message from her. Everyone deserves to be seen & heard, be validated & feel loved.
For this reason I am offering my existing Healing & Channelling sessions with the horses if you feel it reasontes. Every session will be individual & unique. All exchanges for services will go to directly enhancing the horses lives here at the sanctuary. If it is something that you would like to experience reach out & we can explore the options together.

Time is nearing to close the chapter on this year.
Rather than getting caught up on all the busyness that season brings, what if we took the time to slow down & reflect on what was.
🙏 Offer deep gratitude for the gifts, lessons & love we received.
🙏 Reflect on those connections grown & those connections that we parted ways with.
🙏 Offer forgiveness to those that hurt us.
🙏 Most importantly Reflect on how we have grown.

It's deeply healing to allow yourself the space to reflect, process & integrate.
✨️ What if we gave this gift of allowance to ourselves bringing forward the opportunity to take a deep dive into the past year, wrapping it up & opening up new possibilities for the coming year.
✨️ What if rather than setting goals we set the intention to be the best human we can be. To co create, love unconditionally, be honest & authentic. To have the strength & courage to manifest your hearts desire. To bring community together.
Most importantly foster peace within your own heart allowing that flow to touch others.
