Self-Collection for the Cervical Screening Test 🌸

We understand that cervical screening can feel uncomfortable or even a little daunting — and for some women, it’s something that gets put off.

That’s why we’re so pleased to offer self-collection for the Cervical Screening Test — giving you more choice and control over your health.

This option allows you to collect your own sample in a private, safe space, making the process feel more relaxed and accessible for many women 🤍

If you’ve been delaying your screening, this could be a gentle, more comfortable way to take that important step.

If you’re due for your test or have any questions, please speak with your GP. Your health matters 🤍

Your baby’s first check-ups matter 💛

Those early weeks with your newborn can feel like a blur — full of love, little sleep, and lots of questions. That’s why your baby’s 2-week and 6-week check-ups are so important.

At PartridgeGP, we’re here to support both you and your baby during this special time 🤍

👶 2-Week Check
This visit is all about making sure your baby is settling well into the world. We’ll check feeding, weight gain, growth, and answer any questions you might have — no matter how small.

👶 6-Week Check + Immunisations
At 6 weeks, your baby will have a more comprehensive check-up, including development, growth, and their first round of routine immunisations to help protect them from serious illnesses.

These appointments are also a chance to check in on you — your recovery, your wellbeing, and how you’re adjusting to life with your new baby.

🤍No question is too small
🤍 No concern is silly
🤍 We’re here to support you every step of the way

If your baby is due for their 2-week or 6-week check, we recommend booking in advance to secure a time that suits you.

Have you thought about Pregnancy Shared Care?

Pregnancy is such a special time — and having a familiar, trusted GP by your side can make all the difference.

Pregnancy Shared Care allows you to build and continue a relationship with your GP while you’re expecting, supporting you through each stage as your family grows. For many women with a healthy, low-risk pregnancy, it’s a wonderful option when planning to deliver in a South Australian public hospital.

If you don’t already have a regular GP, this can be the perfect time to find one — someone who gets to know you, your health, and your journey.

With Pregnancy Shared Care, most of your antenatal appointments are done right here at the clinic, meaning fewer hospital visits and more personalised care close to home.

At PartridgeGP, you’ll be cared for by our experienced and supportive doctors — Dr Kim Omond and Dr Monika Moy — who are here to guide you every step of the way 💛

If you’re pregnant or planning your pregnancy and would like to learn more, we’d love to support you.

Multiple Birth Awareness Week
15–22 March 2026

At PartridgeGP, we are proud to support Multiple Birth Awareness Week — a time dedicated to recognising the unique journey of multiple birth families.

This year’s focus is on helping parents of multiples feel more connected, supported, and confident in their strength — reminding them that they are never alone, but part of a village that truly understands and uplifts them.

Because let’s be honest… raising multiple babies is no small task. It can be incredibly rewarding, but also physically and emotionally demanding. From sleepless nights and feeding schedules to balancing your own wellbeing, it’s a journey that requires resilience, patience, and support.

At PartridgeGP, we want you to know:
✨ It’s okay to ask for help
✨ It’s okay to feel overwhelmed at times
✨ And it’s important to look after your own health too

Our team is here to support you through every stage — whether it’s postnatal care, mental health support, or simply having someone to talk to who understands.

If you’re a parent (or soon-to-be parent) of multiples, you’re doing an amazing job — even on the tough days.

📞 Book an appointment with one of our caring GPs today
💻 Or book online at your convenience

Let’s continue to support and celebrate families of multiples — this week and always.

😴 Always exhausted?

Between work, family, social life and everything in between—it’s easy to blame feeling exhausted on being “busy.”

But if you’re constantly feeling:
• Drained, even after a full night’s sleep
• Struggling to focus or think clearly
• Short of breath or lightheaded
• Relying on coffee just to get through the day

…it could be more than just a hectic lifestyle.

💡 Low iron is very common in women aged 20–40—especially with busy schedules, periods, pregnancy, or postpartum changes.

The good news? A simple check with your GP can help identify the cause, and treatments like iron infusions may help restore your energy.

✨ You deserve to feel like yourself again—not just push through the fatigue. Book an appointment with your GP - https://www.hotdoc.com.au/medical-centres/glenelg-SA-5045/partridge-street-general-practice/doctors

Pushing through your workout… but still feeling completely drained? 😴

If you’re showing up, doing the work, and still feeling:
• Exhausted halfway through
• Out of breath too quickly
• Struggling to keep up with your usual routine
• Running on coffee just to get moving

…it might not be your fitness.

💡 Low iron is common in women—and it can seriously impact your energy, endurance, and recovery.

You don’t have to keep pushing through feeling like this.

✨ Getting your iron levels checked is simple—and the right treatment can make a real difference.

Not sleeping well lately? You’re not alone.

If you’re lying awake at night, waking up exhausted, or feeling like your mind just won’t switch off — it might be more than just a 'bad night’s sleep'.

Many people experience sleep disruptions due to:
• Stress and busy lifestyles
• Hormonal changes
• Anxiety or mental load
• Parenting and young children
• Work or shift schedules

Sleep is essential for your mental health, mood, energy and overall wellbeing — and ongoing sleep issues are worth talking about.

A chat with your GP can help identify what’s affecting your sleep and explore ways to improve it.

🌙 Better sleep starts with understanding the cause.
