Have you experienced elder abuse? Help us turn your lived experience into action. COTA Tasmania is partnering with Engender Equality to deliver Older Voices for Change in 2026.

This program supports older Tasmanians who have experienced elder abuse to safely share their story and raise awareness in the community.

You will receive training and ongoing support. You choose how you participate, whether through media, online sessions or community presentations. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.

If you or someone you care about has experienced elder abuse, we encourage you to join the program and help us create real change.

Delicious mocktails were served, and the villagers dressed up and enjoyed the Summer Dance on Tuesday evening. Thank you to all who attended and made the event extra special.

Congratulations to the winners of the lucky door prizes at our staff Wellness Expo! We are grateful to the businesses that provided the prizes – please support them if you can.
Belinda won a night for two with breakfast at the , Hobart. Valued at over $270.
Samikshya won a pack valued at over $85.
Eva won a pack valued at over $85.
Sally won a $100 gift card from . Lauren won a $50 gift card from Bunnings.
Amanda and Matti each won a $50 voucher towards their next meal Nepalese Pub.

The Wellness Expo brings together training providers, counselling services, superannuation and salary packaging experts, and the Multicultural Council in one spot for staff to ask questions and gain information. Glenview also provides hot lunch, coffee van beverages, and 10-minute massages as a token of appreciation for our staff.

A large group gathered in the chapel to commemorate those who had fallen in the Great War and those who had passed away from Windsor during the year.
Bisdee Day Centre clients joined Windsor residents for the moving service conducted by Moira, a volunteer and family member, residents and our activities team.

Korongee Village was abuzz during the annual Spring Fling. Family, friends and staff joined the villagers as they danced to ABBA and to other popular tunes. The Applejacks performed a few swing routines and then danced the evening away with the villagers! Wonderful to see ex-staffer Spiwe, who came to say hello and join in. 😊
