🏀 Come & Try Wheelchair Basketball and Boccia is happening tomorrow!

Celebrate International Day of People with Disability with a fun, inclusive morning of wheelchair sports at the Warrane Sports Centre!

Whether you’re new to adaptive sport or keen to brush up your skills, come along and give wheelchair basketball and boccia a go in a supportive and social environment. Coaches and experienced players will be on hand to guide you through the basics — no experience needed, and all equipment is provided!

Another fantastic Monthly Social in Launceston! 🎉

We had 9 people come along last Thursday, enjoying a relaxed coffee and a good chat before heading out for a group roll around Riverbend Park. Fresh air, great conversation and a real sense of camaraderie — exactly what these catch-ups are all about. 🌿💬☕

ParaQuad Tasmania Boccia Club Challenge
Round 2 of the Boccia Club Challenge was held at Campbell Town High School 22nd November. Twelve athletes from the clubs New Horizons, NW Turbo Chooks and The Southern Rollers were represented. There were eighteen games played during the day with some very close games with several going to a tie break.
Sue Barker from Boccia Australia attended the Challenge to give some of the new players provisional classification.
A huge thank you to Ro, Saskia, Rob and Bruce for refereeing and to everyone who helped with the scoring and timekeeping.
Don’t miss the ParaQuad Tasmania Boccia State Titles 13 – 15 March 2026 in Hobart.

This free event promotes inclusion, accessibility, and community connection through sport.

Equipment:
All equipment will be provided, and ParaQuad Tasmania’s friendly team will be on hand to guide participants and ensure a great experience.

Parking & Accessibility:
Parking is available onsite at Warrane Sports Centre via Bligh Street. Accessible parking spaces are located close to the entrance, and a paved ramp provides step-free access from the car park to the facility. Visitors are welcome to use two nearby bays as temporary accessible parking during the event.

Registration:
Registration is required to help us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Please register via Come and Try Registration or by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer.
