Youth crime in our state is a disgrace .
Why do you believe some children have no respect for their parents ,no respect for others or property that they have not worked for and think they are in titled to take from others .
We have laws and rules for good reason .
Yes ! Laws and rules can be changed ,so long it is to benefit all of our society.
What is the solution and what can be implemented by society as one to help our next generations?.
We as a society talk about justice , free speech , discrimination and political correctness.
Unfortunately some parents have forgotten to teach our children respect ,empathy and compassion.
How to make good choices for them-self and others .
What rules apply in your home ?
Who set the rules?
Who sets the disciplines?
Do your children understand, life skills ?
We all must be accountable for our words and actions ?
Are there consequences for unacceptable behaviours in your home ?
I can remember when our two youngest children were 2years and 4years old . They both stole a chocolate each from the small deli.
I explained to them ,you do not take items from
shops without paying for the items .
I then marched them back into the little deli.
To my horror, the store owner patted them both on their heads and said , “I don’t want to upset the children “ I had to insist he accepted the money from them both.
How are children to learn , if adults don’t teach them the laws and rules of life.
How are children to learn if no one takes accountability for their actions ,when they are young.
I keep asking , what are we teaching our children ?
