online or face to face, equine assisted & natured based therapy Rein Changer is situated near Canungra SE, QLD within an easy reach of the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Brisbane and located at gorgeous Ricinda Ranch Quarter Horse Stud. We offer a very unique opportunity and welcome clients to experience Equine Assisted Therapy/ Learning within our herd of beautiful caring mares and foals. Our herd has been an integral and supportive part of our lives for many years and has assisted us to not only overcome life’s challenges but to thrive in the valuable skills developed in their wake. Horses are beautiful, sensitive and intelligent animals and often evoke feelings and emotions we previously had little awareness of thus allowing us to see, feel and reach and develop areas within us. By focusing on developing and strengthen our supports and resources we are able to build the skills required for life’s challenges. The horses within our herd are calm, respectful, happy, well adjusted and very connected with people. We view them as part of our family and we are viewed as part of their herd and this is very evident in the response from them in the warm caring manner they express when they see us. Horses live in the present moment, in awareness and authentic contact, when living in a herd environment. These capacities are profoundly important for human health and wellness – the capacity to live in the present, be aware and create and maintain healthy, honest and creative relationships

At Rein Changer we also are able to bring years of experience working with people and staff experiencing significant life/ professional events to develop a wide range of skills to support them following these events. Particular focus areas are working with clients or staff supporting clients, with issues on safety, trauma, domestic violence and working with women/ and adolescents. Our main focus is supporting client’s to discover their true self by exploring within a safe and nurturing environment areas of social-emotional development, leadership, relationships, self-awareness, healing, personal development, strengthening supports, resources and growth and change. Our services are individually modeled to meet the specific needs of each client and are offered on a one to one level with a equine co-facilitator of client choice (horse partner). We also offer programs for organistaions, businesses and work related goals on a broad range of areas such as developing high performance teams, working effectively in team, developing skills for rapidly changing / high risk environments (Emergency Service Personal, Education, Health Services, Human Related Services), leadership, emotional intelligence, contact, effective relationship building and awareness of specific target groups and communication skills.

The Invisible Grief of Infertility

Some losses are invisible but no less real. Infertility brings a quiet, persistent grief—for the child we imagined, the future we planned, and the version of ourselves we thought we'd become. It’s mourning an “idea” of a child , feeling identity shift, and carrying a chronic, ambiguous sorrow that often goes unrecognized by others.
There are days of shame, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion; relationships can feel strained and life full of what-ifs. If you’re walking this path, your pain is valid, even when there’s no funeral to mark it.

As a person who also struggled with infertility know your are not alone. If you or someone you care about is struggling with infertility grief then just reach out. This is a part of your reproductive story that you dont have to do so alone. Im here for you. I’m here to listen or hold space in which ever way you need.

Want to become the person you imagine? Working on what our possible selves help you do exactly that.

What are possible selves you might ask?

Possible selves are the mental images of who you might become—your hoped-for self (who you want to be), your expected self (who you realistically see yourself becoming), and your feared self (who you don’t want to become). The idea, developed by Hazel Markus and Paula Nurius, shows how these imagined futures shape the choices you make today.

How they work

* Turning feelings into images: Hopes and worries are often vague. When you form a clear picture of a future self—what they do, how they feel, what they value—that image becomes a concrete motivator instead of a fuzzy wish.

* Guiding goals and choices: A “best possible self” gives you a target to aim for (study more, exercise regularly, apply for that promotion). A “feared self” highlights pitfalls to avoid, helping you steer clear of habits or decisions that would lead there.

*Helping you self-regulate: These images act like internal standards. When your current behavior doesn’t match your desired self, you’re more likely to notice and adjust—push through a hard workout, save instead of splurge, or say no to distractions.

Providing context for change: Possible selves connect past experiences and current circumstances to future outcomes. They help explain why some goals feel realistic, why others seem out of reach, and what practical steps bridge the gap.

Simple ways to use this today

1. Picture one clear detail of your best possible self (job, daily routine, how you feel).
2. Write one small action that aligns with that image (e.g., “I’ll prep a healthy lunch,” “I’ll apply to one job,” “I’ll practice 20 minutes tonight”).
3. Imagine one thing your feared self would do and choose the opposite action.
4. Check in weekly and adjust the image or actions as you grow.

If your wanting to take a deeper dive to explore your possible selves (past, present or future) then I can certainly help.

If your wanting to come an listern to a very inspiring session then DONT miss this morning tea. going to be awesome

Friends this Friday 🎉🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽,

Who is joining us ?

Super excited to share our FIRST I AM Morning Tea for 2026 with our incredible Practitioner, Lou Friday the 30th of January at 10am to 11am. Book your Ticket $10 in the link in Facebook events or Website. 🤸🙏💛

With so much nutrition and wellness information out there, it’s no wonder so many of us feel confused about how to truly care for our bodies. Many of us have been impacted by years of diet mentality and weight cycling, leading to constant thoughts and sometimes obsessions about losing weight or fixing our bodies.

When does it ever stop? The beautiful truth is: there is another way.

Healing your relationship with food and your body is possible without another meal plan, without the latest wellness trend, without “starting again on Monday,” and without the shame and guilt that so often follows.

Join I AM Healing practitioner Lou Heta, a dietitian of 20 years and founder of , for a nourishing morning tea as she gently shares how reconnecting with your body and understanding your personal body image timeline can support freedom from diet culture and body shame.

In this session, you’ll explore:
• How the non-diet approach and Health At Every Size® model are used in dietetic counselling and are supported by evidence to achieve positive health outcomes

• Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself through the body image timeline, connecting life events and relationships with current beliefs around food and body image

• Mindful eating, including a gentle, guided mindful eating activity to help you reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom and cues

Sonia, founder of I AM Healing Gifts, will also share her personal experience of working with Lou and the impact it has had on her relationship with food and her body.

With Love the I AM Team 🌙
