Would you believe me if I told you this was my first keynote and I didn’t break a sweat?
This is how I did it…
1. I gained crystal clear clarity on my vision for the session, what the messaging was I wanted to share, how I wanted it to come across. Then I stepped into that vision making it subconsciously embedded.
2. I addressed any doubts with the right reframes to keep me grounded and aligned - this worked even when I had technical difficulties!
3. I created subconscious anchors which my brain now automatically connects with being a keynote speaker. This meant that even without thinking about, just in showing up, I was going to carry the energy I wanted, the same way I was going to keep breathing or blinking without thinking about it.
BONUS POINT
4. I knew that even though I know all these tools, our mind won’t let us see our own blind spots, so I worked with my mentor and outright said “I need your honest feedback, throw everything you’ve got at me” I put my ego to the side, took on her advice and made a few tweaks.
