We went for a walk today and stopped by the wetlands.

The water was so still, and the lilies were everywhere, just floating there, open and standing tall.

My husband looked at them and said, “How do they even grow when there’s no soil?”

And it really made me think…

They don’t need to have what a “normal” flower needs, no soil, no ground to hold them but somehow they still bloom. Because they’ve found their own way to grow.

And that’s exactly what mediumship is like sometimes.

We think we need to start the “right way,” follow the rules, find the structure, sit in meditation every day… but really, your connection will always find its own way through.

You don't have to grow by trying to be like everyone else.

But your roots and your connection are unique to you, Spirit will still hold you.
