With experience in schools, private practice, and community settings, and extra training in PROMPT, Lidcombe, Key Word Sign & Darbyshire, Adriana loves helping children with Autism, ADHD & Selective Mutism build confidence in all settings 🌈

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her at the beach, hiking, doing reformer Pilates, singing, or with family ✨

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Abigail (Abby) 💛
One of our directors and a passionate Paediatric OT who loves all things play, sensory processing and connection.

After gaining experience in paediatric settings across Sydney, Abby returned to the Gold Coast to bring her dream clinic to life at Creative Minds Therapy 🌊
She leads with a play-based approach and is trained in Learn to Play and DIR-Floortime.

Outside the clinic, Abby enjoys beach swims, running, family time and hanging out with her Labradors 🐾

Mrs. Adriana had the pleasure of presenting to her two local libraries Burleigh Heads and Burleigh Waters for the yearly Speechie Library Talks with GClibraries and Speech Pathology Australia . It was a HUGE success!

Why was it so special? Because learning happens best when we’re connected with our little ones! Mrs Adriana brought her warmth, passion and expertise, creating a welcoming space where parents felt confident, kids felt engaged, and everyone walked away with practical strategies they can start using today.

💬 From reading the Book of the Year Award Winner Cheeky Monster, to providing early language tips for babies, to key word sign and language ideas during everyday activities - the room was filled with lightbulb moments, giggles, and “I can do this!” energy.

🤍 A massive thank you to our wonderful families who joined us, and to GC Libraries once again for hosting such a meaningful community event. Together, we’re building strong foundations for communication, connection and confidence.
