Amy, where do I even begin?
Let me tell you about the 17 kg weight loss journey of long time client Amy!
She came to me in January wanted direction with her training & nutrition, she had a ambitious goal of 20kg weightless front of mind & didn’t have a strict deadline on when she would like to achieve this by in her mind- she knew she needed a change & she was willing to make any changes needed to set her on this journey… & boy what a journey it has been!
So what did we do to achieve this?
We stuck to a structure 4 day training split, because this is what was able to fit Amy’s lifestyle & what she was able to commit to!
We adhered to a calorie deficit, first under a meal plan, to which we then adapted to Amy being able to track her own calories & have enough nutritional literacy to make healthier choices! (proud 🥺)
Amy had a small cardio program to hit as well, this also helped with her overall endurance with training!
Whilst training hard & pushing her intensity each session, I have never had to push Amy to do anything she didn’t want to, she knew what her goal was & she stayed true to it!
We didn’t have to give up meals we enjoyed, we still enjoyed the odd meal out & a few drinks through this phase as well, I am so incredibly proud of how balanced we were able to be through this whole period!
Whilst we are super close to our 20kg mark, it has been a pleasure to coach Amy through this journey so far & it inspires me every week to watch her smash it knowing she is so close to that ambitious goal of hers!!
