International Women’s Day reminds us how powerful it is when women come together in community.

Within Auslan Mind Body, we believe in supporting women’s wellbeing through connection, movement, rest, and shared experiences. Spaces where women feel seen, supported and encouraged to care for themselves and each other.

A big thank you to .auslan for hosting such a beautiful afternoon tea and creating a space for Auslan women to gather, connect and celebrate. It was so lovely catching up with so many familiar and new faces in our community.

Such a special afternoon and may we continue to lift each other up 🌸💕

We all scroll on our phones.
We all hunch over our computers.
And honestly… that’s okay.

Our bodies just aren’t designed to stay in one position for hours.

The key? Balance it out.

If we spend a lot of time rounded forward, we simply need to give the body the opposite movement - the chest, move the arms, wake up the back muscles, and reset our posture.

So here’s your 70-second reset you can do right in your office chair.

No equipment.
No changing clothes.
Just a quick break for your body and nervous system.

Your shoulders will thank you.
Your neck will thank you.
And your brain will probably feel a bit clearer too.

On 26th February | 7pm AEST (Zoom) we’re hosting a 1-hour workshop called The Way Forward — focused on building a steady mindset so you can take your next step calmly and clearly.

We’ll explore:
• Regulating before big decisions
• Responding instead of reacting
• Connecting to your grounded, wise self
• Clarifying what matters to you

This is growth without burnout and taking more gentle yet wiser steps.

Workshops like this are included regularly inside our Auslan Mind Body Online membership - alongside new Pilates classes (just uploaded this month), Yin Yoga, breathwork and mind-body movement in Auslan.

Our very popular day program is back!

After a year, we’re so excited to bring back our Women’s Wellbeing Half Day Program - created especially for Deaf women.

🗓 Saturday 21st March
⏰ 7.30am–1pm
📍 Greenhouse Bathhouse, Tallebudgera Valley, Gold Coast.

This guided group wellbeing experience includes:

• Gentle Pilates
• Breath & nervous system regulation practices
• A wellbeing workshop in Auslan guided by a Counsellor
• Bathhouse session
• Shared lunch

The focus is on stress reduction, body awareness, emotional wellbeing and community connection. Intentional time to slow down, regulate, connect and be in community

Numbers are limited to keep the space calm and supportive. If you’ve been meaning to prioritise your wellbeing, this is your invitation to commit.

NDIS-friendly for eligible participants.
