On 30th October, we celebrate 54 years since Pindara first opened its doors under the ownership of Allan and Gwen Ramsay (no relation to Paul Ramsay, founder of Ramsay Health Care - just a great coincidence! 😊).

Over the decades, countless patients have trusted our incredible team to care for them. We’re so proud of everyone who has been part of the Pindara story, past and present and grateful for the ongoing trust our community places in us every day.

Here’s to many more years of caring for the community! 💙

A massive thank you to all who organised, donated to, and purchased tickets in our Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising raffle! 💗

With a special mention to JW Marriott Surfer Paradise who donated a $240 spa voucher for the raffle.

A fantastic effort to raise $1,486.00 which will be donated to breast cancer research through Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand.

We’re super excited to announce that Dr Yasmin Pilgrim, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, will be joining our wonderful Pindara Maternity team from 2nd January 2026. Dr Pilgrim is known for her patient centered approach to women's health and being deeply committed to empowering women through all stages of life.
We look forward to Dr Pilgrim joining us in the New Year!

Welcome baby Shiloh Mia Asmar 🤍

Shiloh was born on Friday 15 August 2025 at 9.06am under the care of Obstetrician Dr Drew Moffrey at Pindara Private Hospital.

Her story is a very special one. Both of her parents, Jaz (born 1994) and Will (born 1993), were also born at Pindara, both delivered by Dr Tim O’Dowd (now retired), who is pictured here with the family alongside Dr Moffrey.

Shiloh is the first Pindara grandchild and the third grandbaby on both sides of the family. Big brother Leo was excited to meet his little sister and welcome her into the family.
